you mention you would put up a complete shopping list?
You want the list of the Aeroponic system right?

I'll attach an excel spreadsheet for that with basic descriptions listed and it will be up to who ever downloads it to interpret it and/or find appropriate substitutes.

I had figured that price was subject to location and decided it was not relevant so will not be listed. Neither will exact part numbers or vendors.

If you have questions about where to get specific items you can ask me and I'll give you my suggestions on where to find the items.

LOL, that is an old scrubber, years old... I had a post on overgrow about it years ago. I'll take some picture of it and detail it later tomorrow or some time. Basically it is a laundry hamper with activated carbon sandwiched between the outside cotton walls and an inside dryer vent with screening.

I need to replace the carbon in it soon and will show you all of the details.

Thanks for the +rep on the RO system, right now it is my pride and joy.

I have been trying to +rep you but I'm stingy with my +reps and have not spread around enough love I guess!:eyesmoke:

Looking good. Gives me some insight to my aero system. Pretty much the same but it is 24 sites.

Very cool. Glad to see it!!

looking very nice Dub!
Question:
You mentioned earlier up the page, about a shopping list for making the aero system. Where is that at, or have you posted yet? I wanna try this but don't wanna spend the outrageous price on one.
Also, what is the clear tube attached to the center of the aero unit?

The computer I used to design the system is crapping out on me, so I'll just make a basic list for now until I gain access to the excel file again.

6X 4"x4"x46" Vinyl fence posts
12X 4"x4" Vinyl fence post end caps
40' of 1/2" OD PVC
30x 360* Sprayers
12x 180* Sprayers
4X 1/2" ID PVC 90* Elbows
8X 1/2" ID PVC Ts
3X 1/2" ID PVC Ball Valves
1/2" ID 4 Way PVC Joint
1/2" ID Clear Vynil flexible tubing
2X 1/2" OD 90* Barbed Bulkhead Fittings
2X 3/4" OD Straight Barbed Bulkhead Fitting
3/4" ID Black Vinyl Tubing
1096GPH ECO Plus Water Pump
12X 1/2" ID Rubber Grommets
Trash Can (External Res)
Large Rubbermaid Tub (Main Res/Aeroponic base)
36X 3" Net pots and foam covers
Airpump
Airstone
Air Tubing
ART-DNe timer
Power strip
GFCI Main High Amp Extension cord

Optional (depending on location, climate area, average room temperature, and preferences):
Humidifier
Heater
Dehumidifier
Carbon Scrubber
RO Filter

About the tent:
HOMEbox XL
600W HPS
200 CFM Inline Exhaust Fan
Ductstat

Air/water connection pieces (be inventive or get a plumber to help you out)

I'm sure there is something I'm missing. That is just off the top of my head.

More pictures:

Here is a plant I haven't taken many pictures of.

A very healthy plant that has been in the system from day one.

It's developing well, very compact and dense.

This is how I use the clear tubing with the ball valve to water plants, you asked what it is attached to, it is only attached to the pump manifold that supplies the sprayer lines for easy reservoir maintenance. I can pump water to anywhere I want.

Watering the soil plants with the clear tube on top

Mixing the reservoir with the clear tube on top

very nice....you said all the supplies only cost $45.00?
That's a good price, but seems low for the cost of the PVC fence post alone. What do they run?
Thanks for clarifying the tube, that makes sense and looks very convienent. Wish i had easy access to water like that. Gotta walk up and steps with buckets now.
That's why i'm in soil now, you imagine luggin' 30 gallons or more for the resevoir changes? LOL!!!!

The $45 was for the RO option. I hear you on the water issue, I did it in the past and now I do this. :) forgot how much the entire system cost me.:leaf:

I thought about posting vendors, prices and part numbers but decided it was location dependent and might give away the part of the world. :fire:

A rough estimate to complete my entire SoG setup would be a big chunk all at once, but acquired over time it is not bad, especially when you bargain shop.:bigjoint:
