DIY first time grow

Hey guys! I'm very excited to start my first indoor grow. I'm going to fill you guys in with a bit of background information so you better understand my situation. My grandma owns a house out in the country that I will be using to grow. I'm only 17 years old but I have already talked this out with my mother and have the full go ahead from her to start an indoor garden which is very exciting. Anyways the only person not ok with this would be my grandma and the police.

As of right now we have decided on a grow tent because we want a grow room that can be taken down and packed away until next year.

My first question would be what is your oppinions on home made grow tents made out of PVC pipe and panda film.

I'm looking to create a 4x8 grow tent.

PVC piping is ok, easy to structure and modify.

Would prefer Mylar over Panda film since Mylar is more reflective.

You mom is cool, is she gonna be burning with you? Such a lucky kid you are!

OK Grasshopper You are 17 and you are growing at your grandmas house and she will be pissed if she catches you. Wait a year and you and your Moms get your own place and put yourself at risk and not your grandmas house which the police could conceivably confiscate.

Seconded for mylar, if you can't find it buy camping blankets instead from Wal-Mart. A pack is 3 bucks and is about the size of a queen size comforter. Those suckers are made of mylar.
