Hey everyone I'm new to this page and this is my first time growing. I need some advice. I have the dell optiplex 320 case and I was wondering how I can get the 2 cages off. And I was also wondering on how I could control the smell? I heard about using activated carbon on pc fans but the back pressure wasn't good for them? So then I saw the zen style carbon filter and was thinking of buying a 4inch inline duct fan for that filter. But I just don't know how I'm gunna get that to fit in here with these cages in the goddam way

Can you remove as much of the cage as possible and post some pictures of where the cage is attached to the rest of the case?
I've tried to pull part welded pieces in a PC case before and ended up messy with bent metal.

No I don't at the moment but I am planning to if that's my only option. It seems welded because I don't see any screws and stuff holding it together

No it almost seems like it's glued on.

Obvious thought, can you stick something between the cage and the case to see if it prys or pops off?

Can you take a pic of every point where the cage is secured to the case chasis?

I remember that with my PC case I would just drill into the rivets. Took some times but they would eventually come off. As for that cage... I don't know but it looks like it won't be coming off without doing damage to the PC. I just used screw drivers and hammers to hack away at any obstacles, but then again I wasn't concerned about stealth so the whole box was mangled here and there.
