**Please Do Not Post until i declare the thread to be open**

Here is a step-by-step tutorial that i am hoping will help out a few ppl in their pursuit of an effective stealth grow.

Step 1: Acquire a suitable cabinet. This Cabinet i rescued that my friend was throwing in the bin.. (The Rabbit was already here).

Step 2: Gather all the items you will need to add to your cabinet. In mine i added:
- CFLs.
- 2 PC Fans & Transformer to run them.
- Roll of Mylar to add to the Walls, Floor & Ceiling.
- A 4-Way Power Board.
- Assorted clips and screws.

Now we can go about installing these items into our cabinet :)

First thing first - the Mylar Lining needs to go in:

I found it best to measure it up prior to sticking it in and cutting after, as that got messy.
It is stuck to the wall using the Blue plumbers glue available at any hardware.

This is what yours should look like at this stage. Be sure to cover as much of the surface as possible.

After this i wired up my fans to the transformer to run them. and after finding out their direction of airflow, i placed one in each corner. One for air intake, and one for air extraction.

These little fans are super quiet, and use next to nothing in power, so they are very suited to this type of growing operation.

As we all know: Clones and Seedlings require warmth in order to establish a good root system, so i went to the liberty of giving my babies a Heat Pad :joint:

These are the Fluros i included in Step one, i attached them via a chain that i screwed into the roof.

I decided not to use these lights as i wanted something with a little more 'Oomph'.
..Thought i would include the step anyway as it may help someone..

Here is the 135W 5600K CFL i decided to use.
Any Socket holder will do the job. Here is the placed vertically with chains affixed to keep it upright.

This is the final light setup that i settled on.
The 135W CFL, into a horizontal Lamp holder.
I removed the reflector as it was not able to fit into the cupboard.
The light holder is screwed directly into the roof.

After this was done, i went through and made it a lil more stealth.
I ran the wires through the roof into the open compartment, through a special hole i cut:

FINISHED!!

To put the finishing touches on it, i found an old bit of pine i had lying around and fitted it to the cabinet so that it covered the empty compartment and all the wires. The pine was clean, so i stained it gradually over a period of about one week, using nothing more than coffee beans and water.. It still needs a lacquer, but it will match.

Here is the finished product.. (and that rascally rabbit that wont leave my plants alone)!!

Let's get a pick with the doors shut! How are you clones doing?

..Thats wat the last picture is - or do u want to see something different??
My clones are doing really well. The Rabbit has not got to them yet.. I decided to use the 135W CFL over a HID due to heat issues and thinking it may b a lil 2 harsh on the little ladies. But they are really thriving under the CFL.

How is ur cabinet coming? Switched to CFL's yet?

Could you please post some pix with the plants inside? I'm looking to do something exactly like this but just wondering how big of a cabinet I would need to grow. Thanks

No worries :)
It has been a while, how did ur search go?

Great setup !!!! How long is your flourescent light fixture and where did u get it?
The Flourescent fixture is 60cm long. I got it from the Hydro Shop, it has a light spectrum specific to rooting..
