Thanks for this post! Very informative, just the kind of stuff I'm looking for. I don't think I recall you posting this, but what are the diminsions inside the cab? Also how many plants are you planning on keeping inside?

Hi, pleased to be of some assistance to ur growing efforts.. The cabinets dimensions are 65cm long, 50cm high & 20cm deep.
I do not really use it as a Vegative room, mainly for rooting clones as it is quite a neat little setup.
But you can see from the picture in my last post that the 10 saplings fit in their quite easily and if flowered from that height would still finish up in there quite nicely.
Hope this was the info u were after :joint:
Peace :peace:

Looks really good, just one question: why did you put the air intake at the top of the cabinet?

I was thinking the same thing when I saw that
Intake should be low to take in cool air, with it being that high it is just pulling in the warm air that is being exhausted from the cab

Yeah i have since thought this myself, but at the most it runs 135W CFL, but normally just a 36W rooting Fluro, so it doesnt exactly exhaust 'hot air'..
I keep a little table-top fan in their to keep air movement up.

like the layout other then the Airflow as was mentioned...But one big thing i got beef with that "mylar" your using looks more like tinfoil holding the creases and wrinkles, i woulda went with something a little more uniform such as Panda film (also know as Black & white).

http://www.homedepot.com/p/Viagrow-Panda-Film-25-ft-x-10-ft-Black-and-White-Poly-Film-5-5ml-VPANDA25/203478327#.Uj-2y4Z6bIA

Works double as your reflective surface and a vapor barrier to stop air leaks light leaks and anything else you might not want. Also it dosnt wrinkle (stays uniform) and its super easy to clean and maintain where as that look like if i were to wash it down it would tear /wrinkle further.

Could you open the doors and post a pic of the inside again. I'd like a closer look at how you set up the medium on top of the heat mat where you placed your clones. Also how are you managing the humidity inside cabinet. Great job btw as I will soon be needing something just like this. Thanks for sharing.

thats a veg and clone cupboard surley? strip cfls in the top bit, that 125w to veg as you have it....

just 1 thing mylar is useless unless its 100% flat (no crinkels at all) this is the disadvantage of using it, that and it not only reflects light but heat back in as well.

you could A use thin card to make "walls" that fit snug inside, before inserting said walls wrap them in mylar so its flat....think mylar pannels then glue in place...OR painting it DIAMOND white in a MATT finish could be an alternative...as it refelcts nearly as much light but no were near the same heat....by painting it white you can also clear it out and it would not look odd if stealth is key...try explaining sliver walled cupboards!!

just a couple suggestions! other then that well done n happy growing!
