10-4 on that big buddyIf you go the box fan route and are going to build your own blade you don't have to reverse the motor. Just build the fan in the opposite config. of the original. Put the leading edge of the fan on the other side.
lots of great info bro+rep to you that 5hit,
people should know this stuff!
here is a video of my prototype home made trimmer.
i need to do some tweeking to the blade placement to get a closer trim. but it still saves time!
enjoy
its a rotary tool with a kitchen knife chopped off and double edge sharpened.
my total cost into this is $12. since i already had the rubbermade container.
the $12 was to purchase the BBQ replacement grate from wal-mart.

maybe i can screw a sharpened metal ruler ontop of a box fan (like they did.. thatnks Big P )
metoo..i'm the same wayya i noticed that too seems they use a 2 blade system, mybe that helps witht he cutting too if they spin in opposite directions, but man for $300 shipped that shit is a steal, 28 grams of nugs will purchase it. I just dont have the volume enough to warrent getting one but i want one anyway lol
these days i just do a real rough trim with some snips and smoke it all practically.
I make hash out of my trim. seems like a waste just to save a minute. get a seasoned trimmer and they are about as fast as this thing and can get more stem out.
AC powered fans will not reverse if you reverse wires,,only DC...so just reverse the blade and bend the edges so they are closer to the grateits one of those old school metal box fans
with the motor wire revirsed so that it spins back words
all i need is to find one of those fans
or maybe find a way to sharpen the blade of the plastic fan then change the spin
wwwaaay cheaper then a spin pro
please take picks on step by step
on how you did it
im trying to see why this thing cost $1500
