DIY with Quantum Boards

Working on a new grow area created because of the lack of usable space I now have compared to years ago. I took a CORNER DESK area , painted walls white , then lined Panda Film from top of wall down to desktop on 2 sides ....... 4 ceiling hooks with ratchet hangers ..... POOF .... INSTANT GROW SPACE.

Plants rest on a reflective pad for more light reflection , simple oscillating air movement.
Vertical ceiling space has over 2ft ABOVE QB RIG for height. I will not use optics on this rig. I am Building 2 separate QB panels ( either rail or separate) for 5000k veg support or more bloom. But have decided yet.

Anyways this post just shows how versatile the QBs can be for ANY grow situation ..
No Ductwork , No Drywall Cutting , Easy Buildup and Teardown . I could even run a triangle shaped trellis for a scrog pinned at wall.

Plus ........... I am MODDING this cool ass lamp . I plan to look into some LEDs that may work with this ... Gonna reverse engineer her and go from there , it has a lens on it too !
It would make a nice UV maybe ... Plus it is articulated.

Need to mark out the dial for wattages but threw this together today, final QB rig (for now).

4x 3500k 288's on a slate 5, dimmable up to 320w (all I need to cover is a 3'x3' tent). My other light with the QB's spread out more definitely has more even coverage at a lower height, I'll have to run this one higher at more power to get the same coverage but not much to cover 3x3.

I had to dim mine to 250 watts in my 3x3 or I would get light burn and stunt plant growth would have to stay really high and then plants get all stretchy. At 250 watts no issues getting close or running high depending on application and plant size.

Love that expensive J-box you installed for your potentiometer. Why did you use that?
