I would think It would be more for open room my self. Tent I don't think reflectors would be as effective.
I think he's building suspense for the video Dont spoil the ending! playful jknWell well, was there a significant difference with reflectors in the tent?
Slate 2 singles and doubles will be back this Friday along with new Triple in Slate 2 series
testing 2 monsters with HLG 600H
Slate 5 Quad - Black Anodized - around 15 x 29 inches
Slate 6 Quad - Clear Anodized - around 12.5 x 37.5 inches
Both weigh about the same. 22lbs with driver, cord, boards, hanger
Same cooling capacity. 55C at 600Watts
Hard to pick one.
I like Slate 6 Quad as boards are more spread out.

What a tease you are!I just tested this the other day. I took a 260W kit and tested PPFD in open air with and without reflectors, then tested in a 3x3 tent with and without reflectors. Will be sharing the video this week.
Shoot me a PM if you want a QBcant pick anything, there is no stock =(
I was really hoping to get some of these before mid-flower, and run these instead of the CMH. see how t hat goes along with (12)cxb3590@75watts.
Wrong driver for them boards in series you need a 240H-C1050Hello, I’m wondering if anyone can help me. I’m currently trying to assemble two QB 304 in series using a meanwell 240h-c2100b driver. I have pictures attached, I’m fairly certain my connections are correct, however my lights aren’t turning on. Wondering if anyone has a chance to let me know if I’m missing something. Thanks everyone.
Ah, thank you for your help. I guess no matter how much research I do I’m still dumb.I like the slate 5 quad.

Yes . You can run 2x qb304 in parallel on that driverAnyone know if running them in parallel would solve the situation?

Thanks so much. Others have suggested the 2100b is the incorrect driver. You've got the dim wires hooked together take them apart!
Americans like playing with powers of 2.Americans don't use metrics because we are incapable of multiplying or dividing by 10............

I do t know why we don't have $16 and $32 bills. Would be so much fun.
You could always use an alternative for heat sink. A piece of aluminium sheeting cut to the correct size will work or?So I'm piecing together another 135w kit by purchasing the components separately (thanks for the idea, Robin!). Bought a HLG-120H-54A from Sager, and a QB288 (3000k) plus accessory kit from HLG. Now I just need to wait for the Slate 2 singles to be back in stock. Anything I can do to increase my chances of getting one before they're sold out? Any pre-ordering available?

That's definitely an option if I don't get a Slate 2. But I'd much prefer the Slate 2 because I'm OCD about things matching. Don't want to open up my cab and see mismatched heatsinks on either side! Stupid, I know, but that's why it's obsessive behavior! You could always use an alternative for heat sink. A piece of aluminium sheeting cut to the correct size will work or?
