No UV from LED lights. So question. Does QBs put off UV? Was thinking of getting some glasses but not sure if its worth it being that I have corrective lenses and id be blind with just grow glasses.
I never thought I needed them until, today I forgot I left a pump running and went in there after having just woke up and I,damn near went blind despite shielding my eyes with my hand and looking away.
Makes me feel, foolish when I saw pictures,of these lights on this thread and thought they were, dim. Lol.
Definitely switch ASAP, just hang the QB higher than the Mars and bring it down an inch a day until you're happy. The idea is to harden the plant off to the new spectrum and intensity without scorching it.Hey guys just received my QB135. I have a mars hydro 300 in the tent now in week 2 of flowering. I was thinking of switching the lights now. Would anything happen to the plants?
Yeah pictures really don't do it justice if these things photographed well they would sell out even fasterSo question. Does QBs put off UV? Was thinking of getting some glasses but not sure if its worth it being that I have corrective lenses and id be blind with just grow glasses.

Glad they dont. Sell out fast enough as it is.Yeah pictures really don't do it justice if these things photographed well they would sell out even faster
I think it would be plenty. Just position the lights over the mothers, clones dont need anything other than residual light. Will 2 QB304s be enough for a clone/mother area? 4X4 tent
Yes. It will be great. Will 2 QB304s be enough for a clone/mother area? 4X4 tent
Hey fellas, what sort of square footage is the Elite going to be suitable for? Trying to plan ahead for grow room expansion in December. Lol

Oh yeah...Qb120 = $30 for 60 watts
4 of these = $120 for 240 watts
driver = $60
Am I missing something or does this allow me to build a 240w light for about $200?
Has anyone built one of these? Can I see some pics?
Oh yeah...

And I'm building a second one very soon. There's a dude over on GC who runs 8xQB120s in his flowering light. And if you go back through the pages of this thread, you'll find others planning similar builds. Welcome aboard!
Do it!! You can absolutely fit them. But think more like 500 watts at max - don't worry, I have proof the boards can take it without breaking a sweat!Awesome build dude.
You think I could fit 2 of your builds for 480w in a 4x4 tent?
i think so.. your fixture is 21x26
2 of these side by side would be 42x26
My tent is 48x48
hmmmmmmmmm i think I'm gonna do it lol
