My flower room has 4x qb120 3000k, 2ea) qb288 3000k, 5x "full spectrum" 50w cobs, and 4x warm white 100w cobs. The whole room is drawing 707 watts, approx 120 are fans and ventilation, the room is 16 sq ft so approx 37 watts per sq ft. everything is dimmed way down. The buds lower down have more trichomes and smell than the top ones, why do you think this would be? still too much light? I had them turned up to about 900w for a while which is approx 56w per sq ft but have been lowering them over the last couple weeks, I'm at week 6 now.

What disapointment ? Maybe you didnt get good genetics I smoked some of my ww that I just harvested about two weeks ago and it was great smoke was smooth and the buzz was real and lasted quite some time compared to some other strain ive smoke over the years

I was just going to comment the same. I flowered a seed from Dinafem and it was a great smoke and even better turned into sauce!
Not sure what you are talking about or where you have heard/experienced more foxtailing under QBs. I have flowered the same plants under QBs and HPS in the same tent and the QB side had no more foxtailing than the HPS side and all of it was due to me not turning the room fan back on and temps going over 100f in flower. My last grow had ZERO foxtailing under 100% QBs.... I am pretty sure everyone in this thread can agree that foxtailing is either genetic or environmental (aka, your own fault).

What would internet claims be without pics to back it up? All vegged and flowered under QBs. Not my best round. Got a little packed in there and could have used more lollipopping. Grown in 100 gallon no-till pot. Green plants are bodhi's strawberrymilk x sunshinedaydream and the purple plants are Bodhi's Jabba's Stash.

There is some variance depending on outside temp, yesterday was 80 to 72 deg, humidity 40 to 56, there was a day where the high hit 92 but almost always in the mid 80's during light on. The other thing is the humidity runs low if the temps rise or the second day after watering, they need it every 2 days max. That 92 deg day humidity was about 35.

How would drying weed be different if it foxtailed? What kind of question is that? I assumed you were just high an that wasn't a question you would normally ask.

If I knew the answer I wouldn't have asked. The fact that one of my buds has an inch and a half foxtail on it I would assume that would dry out faster than a dense bud but that's just my thinking.

Trimming has always been a marketing ploy. Those sugar leaves are every bit as potent as the rest of the bud and have only slightly more chlorophyll. Nothing a good cure won't take care of! I only trim my buds when I want the trim for oil.

The outside of the bud draws the moister out from the inside. Even if a foxtail dried a bit faster, it will even out during the cure.
Ok then maybe ask "do foxtail buds dry faster?" That would be closer to a proper question but does it really matter? Just hang it see how long it takes every harvest is a little different

No... You said foxtailing and that is not foxtailing. Like I said, I did a shit job lollipopping this round and had a lot of lowers stealing growth from the tops. Not to mention, two of the phenos I got from the pack were extremely low yielding. But, again, no foxtailing that I see?? And the Jabba's stash had great size and was in the shadow of the stretchier plants. Any lack in yield is my own fault, just like foxtailing is when it is expressed.
