run the pair at 300 watts, about the limit of the heatsinks, and they'll work in a 3x3, dim them in veg!

I have this arriving today. Planning to use for 3x3 (in flower). Not sure if quite enough spread. Reading up now, but all ears if anyone would like to chime in with suggestions.

Driver recommendation? I haven't gotten that far yet either. Having to piece things together. I know I will need to dim, and won't need it all, but I'd like to be able to push the boards power, maybe up to 180-200w ea. Actively cooling with fans.

An HLG480H-C3500b will give you about 180 watts per board. Remember what I said though, the heatsink run passive are only good to about 150-160 watts. You'll need to design and build a mount for fans over the heatsinks. An HLG320H-C1400b will run them at about 150 watts each.

Hello all, I recently purchased 2 qb120 4 pack 3000k(8 boards) and 2 MW Hlg240-2100 drivers. I'm looking for some help/suggestions on building a frame for them in a 4'x4' tent.
Looking for -frame size(2 individual frames per 4 pack preferably)
-Spacing of qb's in the frame
-spacing of frames in relation to each other(if the suggestion of 2 frames is used)
I was given a suggestion by Humple to do 2 boards in the middle and 3 on the outsides, I am assuming this would be a 1 frame fixture?
Just looking for ideas and suggestions BEFORE I go buy more angle aluminum than I need.Haha.
I really like the looks of the rails used by timber. Any suggestions as to frame material ,outside of the L channel i currently use on my cob bar rigs?
Thank you in advance to any responses, suggestion and ideas to my questions posed.

*edit
driver mount suggestions are welcome as well.
Hello,
I've seen someone on here using these (forgot who) for frames: https://www.amazon.com/MakerBeam-XL-anodized-1000x15x15mm-103217/dp/B06XJ42W51/#productDescription_secondary_view_div_1520758888604
Really Digging These!
They also have all the connectors & screws available too...

Hope this helps.

These are the extrusion profiles that Timber uses on their lights and such. They do make for a clean frame that looks nice.

Yea there are better mono diodes out there than these Samsung Chinese leds. 5w cree xlamps are way better.
They are all made in china dude. It is apparent you have never grown with leds. For you to even mention a mars light only makes you seem uneducated and have no idea what you are talking about. Cree cost twice as much and they have fallen off. Ever do any research? From your comments you haven't. Until you have many grows under your belt with different leds stop running your mouth.
