DIY with Quantum Boards

Added some finishing touches until the potentiometers, Elite 96v2s, and drivers get in. Capped off all the wiring and added some standoffs to safely work on the light LED side down.

b type driver and a cheap potentiometer? hlg-320h-1750 will output 2 amp.
So with the potentiometer installed, they drop the constant current mode? I am awaiting some on order from rapidLED to install until I add more diode boards and/or strips and go with some sort of controller.
I think what he's getting at is if you have a "cheap" potentiometer it may not give the full 100k resistance at max making your driver never hit its full potential. This is really just a function of the tolerance rating on the pot you buy, not necessarily how much it cost. You could pad the pot with an additional 10k-20k resistor in series to be sure to hit the full driver output.

I think the 320-2100 might have been a better choice for this. 3 of those 288V2 boards should fit in the 152V available.

Sweet build, kudos!

Hey guys,
Last Saturday I built my first fixture with a hlg 600h 54b and 4 QB 288 v1. When I finished it last saturday I plugged it in and let it run all night with no problems, today I finished another fixture that is the same but I ran into a problem. For some reason when I plug either one in the new or old one they just dont power on, it's the weirdest thing. I tried the first fixture exactly how I did the first time and it didn't work and neither does the other. Any insight would be highly appreciated.

That could be any number of things, But I assume you checked the breaker switch, and all the wire connections ? Could be anything...

Yeah checked both. I haven't done anything with the fixture so I just don't get why its not working. The socket has electricity, it's the lights.
Check the amperage on the wires see if your getting power with a meter could be wiring if no power or a bad wire but just to be safe it’ll be easier to check where the issue isn

This might be a stupid question so my apologies. My Vero builds I have each COB on its own ratchet so I could have them different heights etc.. with these 96ers are there places on the heatsink to hook them up individually, or do they have to be on frames?

You guys have been doing some really awesome builds with the QBs! Hats off
