DIY with Quantum Boards

With the appropriate heat sink these boards can take well over 100W. You can get most of the way there by aiming a fan at the board for cooling.
3 amps is the recommended maximum, I understand.

So they should be able to do just over 160w per board but that seems pretty high.

qb288 @ 25w 20" from the seedlings and they stretched a bit. To prevent the stretch should i lower the panel or bump the amp to 50w or something? I'd prefer to bump the amp cause next to the seedlings there is a mother plant. noob.
I would do both don't worry about the stretch so much when you up pot it you can bury the stem to the point of your liking

I assume that this could cause stem rot or something like that. Does the cannabis main stem act like the tomato does with short and fat stem roots? Hope i'm understandable.

Seedlings where over 1ft from the qb@25w and stretched. Bumped the board to 55w and stretched from 1" to a bit 1.5" overnight. Now i got them to 8" from the board still @55w under not exactly direct light, but close enough. Let's see...

edit: got them 5-6" under the board with the clones @75w.
