What kind of driver did you get for that? I was gonna get one myself for a veg light (Hey Robin would this be good to veg a 28"x28"? I was thinking just a cheapy china driver http://www.ebay.com/itm/AC-to-DC20-39V-50W-LED-Driver-Transformer-Power-Supply-IP66-for-Strip-Light-Q4E9/142104557432?_trksid=p2045573.c100506.m3226&_trkparms=aid=555019&algo=PL.BANDIT&ao=1&asc=44940&meid=192c606798f84b9593d6a545e5fa3120&pid=100506&rk=1&rkt=1&

But I just noticed that the ground wire isnt connected to the driver lol and on second glance all the cheap drivers are like that. I Guess I could have a wago connector on each side of the "ground", one that goes to the AC side and then one that goes to the structure but then I don't know if that would be considered grounded and at 1.5A that would be a lot of ouch

I'm thinking I may get another and use the pair to replace the T5 I have in my living room for veggies and house plants. Might try growing strawberries indoors. I'll post a test as soon as I get a driver.
I think my drivers are gonna get here quicker than my boards. Arrow has free overnight shiping. I'm sure the guys at HLG have a ton of orders to work through.

They are old tech that will not live up to the hype, you probably made that par chart up to sell more products, so sad what the LED world is all lies and deceptive practices. Bet the next thing is that is a 1000w hps replacement.
The world isn't "all lies", there are just a lot of false, incorrect, uninformed opinions flying around. *cough, cough, point, point*. Loving my old qb288 Robin! Cant wait till my 2nd qb288 kit (come on august 17th! Lol) arrives to fill out the new tent!

Good starting point. i'm running 20 watts per and doing well. Mostly due to my environment I believe.
I agree & have excellent results myself running around 140watts in a 2.5' X 2.5' tent (140w/~6ft2=23watts ft2). Not quite a gram/watt (closer to 0.8g/watt) but Im running gsc, & have never pulled more than 0.5-0.6g/watt off this strain with HID's. I friggin LOVE these 3000k Qb's!!!

I used a 24V CV (constant voltage) Chinese Driver rated 75 Watts with a single QB 120. It pulled 75 watts. ok
i put another QB 120 is daisy chain(parallel) and it was pulling 160-170 watts. not ok
I am still looking for driver combos for QB 120

Generic Chinese drivers should be ok as long as they are CC and not CV
24V wall power adapters... may or may not work

If I were to purchase a Slate 3 Triple with 3 304 QBs, what would be the recommended driver for that setup?

I've seen the HLG-320-54 mentioned in this monster thread. Also, the HLG-240-54 is mentioned. So it seems like the choice would be underpowered (240) or overpowered (320) but dimmed to ~96 watts per board?

To get the most band for buck with these lights, the 320 driver would be the way to go?

Regarding wiring, 3 of the 304s would need to be wired in parallel right?

Getting a type-B driver, that would allow for easier dimming than the type A? I know with the type-A, you would need to use a screwdriver to dim. My thought is that I would like to be able to easily dim the lights when working in the tent- to save my eyes and skin.
