Did anyone else just recently receive their order of Quantum Boards? I just got mine 2-3 days ago. Just wanted to see how everybody else's boards are looking?

I have 8 quantum 288's for a 5x5 - roughly 1100 watts - 2 HLG-480H-C2100A fpr the quantums broken down into 2 series of 4 boards and also 44 led's powered by 4 ELN-60-27P. Does this seem overkill to you all? I am noticing all of these other build's for a 4x8 etc etc and am curious if i am doing too much... I do not want to burn my plants. However I could get it to the point wherei have the bluefish controlling each channel to underpower the drivers...just curious other's opinions...
TIA
Hey Sickomindo,
when you received your quantum boards - what was the condition of the overall kit? heat sink okay? boards okay? any manufacturing marks or shipping damages at all?

did your quantum boards have any scuffs/scratches/black markings?I got my lights (2x250 kits) in the previous order, so maybe a month ago. They were packaged very well and everything was snug. No damage during shipping and they were in perfect condition. Unfortunately I have been too busy to hook them up.
Cars have 4 wheels...doesn't mean they all perform the same. It's what's under the hood that matters most...Bro all you new guys on this site do is make outrageous claims with nothing to back it up, you make these dumb charts up that mean nothing. Those lights are junk PCB board lights, oldest LED grow light tech on the market, if you want to see those things smashed up go watch @REALSTYLES break his mars hydro LED, that's the tech those lights use. Junk PCB board tech.

For those who are wondering what is NEMA 1-15p
This "2-prong" design, with two flat parallel non-coplanar blades and slots, is used in most of North America and on the east coast of South America on lamps; consumer electronics such as clocks, radios, and battery chargers; and other double insulated small appliances that don't require grounding (earthing).

Nope. They looked like they came straight from the factory, right off of the floor tbh. They were perfect. I unboxed and looked at everything. I was worried about the heat sinks more than the boards as I had read that the sinks were (slate 3) too thin ocasionaly resulting in bends during shipping but more so during use with the power supplied mounted on top. So I wanted to see how thin they actually were and if I needed to plan to build an aluminum frame.did your quantum boards have any scuffs/scratches/black markings?
If you have concern with your order email HLG. They will replace or refund if your goods were defective.Hey Sickomindo,

my slate 2: had bent fins, and the corner was poking out the box. the QB's were fine.Hey Sickomindo,

glad someone brought this up.. 4 of the 6 boards I ordered had scuffs/black marks and scratches/gouges on the back (the side that contacts the heatsink)... all 3 of the triple heatsinks also had discolored patches and scratches.. and I only got screws for 5 of the 6 qbs.. I didn't say anything or attempt to send them back for replacement because I needed to put them to work right away. I had already waited 2 weeks for them to ship and I just couldn't go any longer without lights in that corner of the garden.. I had concerns about the contact between the boards and heatsinks being sufficient to cool the boards, but so far everything seems to be running okdid your quantum boards have any scuffs/scratches/black markings?
