Happy Friday all ....
Chopped the BD S1 .... It was an experiment grow from the start , to do a cross.
This S1 is the first seed from a batch I got from a self pollinated HSO Blue Dream auto.
That original plant was CS sprayed ( 2 lower branches ) for FEMMY POLLEN.
She threw pods which I collected pollen and SELFED 2 other branches to make the S1.
I began CS around day 21 or so as she would start preflower around day 35-40 . I did daily spray in morning and before lights out. I sprayed this way for about a week , day or two then stopped. Once it auto sexed ( pistils ) , I just watched them ( tagged with string ) for the rest of the grow. Within another week some small pods formed .
They grew fatter daily , so watching them was important. I didn't want or NEED many , just enough to use for this plant ..... I harvested them , laid them on a white piece of paper to dry ( no fan .... Lol ) for a few days . Once I seen some splitting , I grabbed a 150 mesh classifer ( I go prospecting sometimes , so it's perfect ) and scuffed them thru over mirror .
There is where I dabbed a small fine point brush and q tips with yellow gold.
Sometimes I dry them further ( longer after laying out ) in a glass test tube with stopper removed .... They begin to open and dump , I also use a small wood skewer to mash and turn within bottom to further dump. Then I dip a brush. I never store it , I just make enough to play with.
HSO BLUE DREAM S1
This the first popped / harvested from that SELFED PLANT. This the harvested plant you see below ......This
IS NOT a grow for smoke only , just to sample the S1 breed and make a cross. I still have plenty of S1 to grow or play with. The top / mid was harvested for the SMOKE PART and the lower branches were DUSTED with that
BX1 that was a full auto male. It was saved for pollen use only and this S1 was in early flower.
