Dont the A drivers output more than whats listed? I seen a video from ledgardener where he says that the c2100 A model doesnt really have an output of 2100ma because he tested it and it was around the 2400ma mark. He tested the b drivers as well and its output was what was rated.

I’ve been useing “sunboards” with fantastic success.
I am installing a grow/bloom Chamber into BL’s home as a thank u gift.
He will have 10 square feet of bloom area.
Since sunboards seem to be defunct
So
What size/wattage quantum board would be suggested for this area??
Leaning toward 3000k

Junk is maybe an exaggeration when there is still many amazon china lights sold which are much much worse, but its very bad style to be asking for advice on this thread about boards that are both worse quality (how much we dont know) and copies that have been popularized by HLG taking the risk of bringing a new product out. Imagine your sisters ex-boyfriend asking you for advice on how to score with her slutty flatmate...
I use some china boards but only really cause HLG alternatives are so expensive here in Europe, +300$ for a 240 kit with no driver. To me it makes sense to get boards on the cheap and if one breaks ill just have it replaced with a spare instead of intercontinental warranty but if i were US based i would go for HLG cause its without a doubt the absolute hallmark in quality in the hortiled game. They say imitation is the greatest compliment, and i think that in the end the real threat to HLG is maybe not Alibubbahs making copies but samsung trying to get into this game themselves, undercutting the same people that made their diodes known asa the hotest shit in town.

Some say they do. But those internal pots are a pain in the as to adjust, IMO. I usually go with the b model

So if I went DIY, I'd like to have 8 QB 304's ran at around 100 watts each for 800~ Watts total, whats the best way to wire this setup? Parallel 4 with HLG-480H-24?

Depending on how hard you drive them 304's require 108 volts, 288's require 54 volts so you usually have more driver options. You picked a 24 volt driver.

I've made the jump, just ordered the HLG-600H Quantum Board V2 DIY Kit - 620 Watt (with Samsung LM301B diodes) - 3000K for my 4X4 tent and a California Lightworks SolarXtreme 250 for the 2X4 tent, so I get to try out the HLG boards and the new COB tech in real time. Any helpful advice will be more than welcome, going forward I do plan to build my on using the Q boards. Any advice on the HLG 600H Kit will also be appreciated. Looking forward to learning from you all.

With that much light you want to run CO2 to get the most from your light. The amount of light your plants can actually use is affected by the amount of available CO2 and nutrient levels
