God Damnit another male - grows all pretty and shit.
Started really throwing balls in last 48 hours so out it goes before it dips on my females.

Too bad - I really like the structure i got ( him ) to do.

No worries for me as i have others that are actually in bloom.

To the Dumpster with you …….

Upgraded my old HLG 260 to Rspec. Then bought a new 260 Rspec Kit a aluminum plate and a UVA-30. And now I have a little monster,,,, LMFAO!!! I should polish up the aluminum plate or at least paint it. Still in veg on the current grow with two HLG 100 V2's. So I have a few more weeks. :)

Wow! Nicely done! I just threw a couple UVA bars in my closet last night. It already had 2 260 Rspecs, a 135 Rspec, and 2 100's in it.

That's a beautiful job you did there. My shits all just hanging separately.

Are you one of those HLG Closet Fan Boyz? LMAO!!! I don't do the Fanboy thing very much. But I do really like my HLG lights. My DIY Dual 260 Rspec w/UVA-30 is going into my 3' x 3' tent late veg to power through flower....

Some people think so, lol. I've got a bunch of HLG lights. They've been great. I also have a Mars, and love the ChilLed lights. I've been tempted to buy the Growcraft shit, but I was good and controlled myself,.

That light's going to rock in a 3x3.

Can't remember if I've seen this on hlg site before or if it's new: https://horticulturelightinggroup.ca/collections/all/products/hlg-50
Cool. Can someone explain the fourth image or "graph" to me? With all the colored horizontal bars.
Also, it appears there's a new 'canadian' website, with pricing in cad including duties.
The graph is the JIS Color Rendering Index chart.
R values are the colors and the 0-100 scale represents how accurately the light renders those colors compared to the referenced light source.

This is freaking amazing, would you be willing to share a list of parts required?
The frames are made of 3/4" x 3/4" x 1/8" aluminum angle. The outer frame bows from the weight of all the heatsinks and lights. So, if I was to remake the outer frame, I would make it out of 1" x 1" x 1/4" aluminum angle.

I forgot to mention, the outer frame is suspended by the the light hangers on thick dowels, so that the outer frame can move also.

Awesome thank you for the info! Definitely going to look at putting one of these together. I would love to be able to more precisely move my lights around to be in the best spot all the time! Haha easier than moving the plants!

Just a little peek into my garden - minus the 3 males ( god damn it ) :bigjoint:

KKP ( Durban Poison x GG4 ) and SUPAFLY ( Super Silver Haze x Short Flo F5 )

Supafly just threw some pubes and is moving to transition stage ( sexxing ) ( hempy grow ) .
KKP in Quantum 3x3 tent ( 304 boards and COBS ) has gotten final prune and growing very uniform . I ditched the FFOF base and have moved to Recipe 420 ( EB STONE ) - plants love this medium. I am running now the Recipe 420 Ultra Bloom 2-8-8 dry fert scratched into top soil for feed.
I load a couple tablespoons once per week and water in regular tap ( no ph ).

I’m not growing many plants at a time cuz realistically I have let’s say … “ too much “ jarred already. I know sounds weird.
But , like growing so here we are.

Recipe 420 mix is a simple layered approach :

Recipe 420 soil
Pumice
EWC / Neem meal ( optional )
Recipe 420 Recharge Dry Fert 6-8-4
Recipe 420 UltraBloom 2-8-8 ( used after stretch ).
Tap water ( non ph - straight ) with occasional seaweed / kelp addition

Hempy :
3:1 Perlite / Vermiculite mix
GH Maxibloom only ( start to finish )
Hydroguard and occasionally MYCOCHUM
Drain to Waste. Ph 5.8 - 5.9

KKP ( QB 304 boards / 3500k COBS )

KKP ( QB 225 with supplemental Board )

SUPAFLY ( SSH X SHORT FLO F5 )
under QB225 with supplemental

Broad leaf girl :bigjoint:
Might have to drop EC a little on her ( claw ) but doing well . She gets silica foliar spray daily.

So I wanted to re design a 650R with a DIY set-up using 4 diablo boards with the single heatsink on each. I am going to run these in pairs i.e. 2 boards to 1 driver. I plan to use the
HLG 320H C2800B to drive 2 boards in series. I seem to remember someone here dissatisfied with running the 320 2100 which is suggested on a few sites. Will the 2800 run 2 boards in series close to 320 watts? Also what are the waterproof cable connections called they use on the HLG models?

I have the 2800b, 2 boards in series, 320 or so watts. Dont really see the point of the waterproof connections considering there is nothing waterproof about the boards or connections to the boards. I did use heat shrink butt's for the ac connections.
You can dim both boards with a single 50k linear pot
