Dj Ruiners New Plans and Ideas for a Grow Closet

got a couple cans of paint...did the floor and ceiling in flat white....the wood paneling is just too damn dark to dry and paint over it...id be a few cans of paint in even if i roll it out....so off to order some mylar...will still need a good amount...but at least i dont have to do the floor now..that would have sucked...should be done in a couple more days...hope to have the vent holes done tonight....but thats if i feel froggy and decide to get it done.

woo hoo...got the vent holes made and the vents installed...going to wait till im ready to put the plants in before i put my fans in there...might just go ahead and move them in there tomorrow then take them out when my mylar gets here...seeing as im going to surround the plants with lights...its not going to hurt them too much to not have mylar on the walls just yet.im going to run a bead of caulk around both of the vent tubes to make sure i have no light/air leaks.will also be taping up some edges around the inside of the bottom of the frame of the closet to make sure the entire closet is air tight top to bottom that will help control my temps and ill be able to control the RH a little better...or so i hope

i have ordered my 400W HPS and roll of panda film...UPS should be dropping that off tomorrow. ordering light hangers, velcro and all the other little things i need tonight. its going to be a 2-3 day process to get all this stuff installed and setup. ill be doing pics once again as i go along...a few before and after shots. its going to look much more organized and clean...all white on the inside with no light getting out...and that HPS blasting light everywhere.

i know i didnt update it here...but i moved all the plants into the closet about a week ago...nothing on the walls...cfl's crudely hung....but it works for now.
here is a pic of how the setup looks now...should be a bigggg change in the next couple days.
here is the current setup and all the remaining plants...these will be flowered in the new closet till they finish...then some real grows are going to happen.
picked up some Qrazy Train,Black Widow, LSD, Burmese Kush, Sage N Sour...and soon to order some KC Brains NLS

woo hoo...finally got my light and poly in....took them forever to get here though...so thats it for waiting for stuff to come in...all ready to get to building...woo hoo

its finally that time. the closet is done, setup and running smoothly. temps are now holding at 83-84f which is fine by me. the panda film is kicking major ass. it was a major bitch to get it all cut to the right size while giving a few extra inches for overhang. there isnt any light coming out from the closet anywhere. with the hps on and the lights off in the room not a bit of light shows anywhere. everything is nice and secure, no frills, no hassles...now the fun can begin. and as promised im doing start to finish pics of this project.

Great Job DJ, that looks like a lot of work, and the plants look good too
