DJ Short Blueberry 56 days from 12/12 - How much longer?

So I've got 6 DJ Short BB that are 56 days from 12/12. Hairs are probably half orange half white. Trichs are still mainly milky white, with a few amber trichs on the buds. Trichs on the leaves are smaller than those on the buds and probably 30/70 amber/milky. Thoughts?

I like to chop mine when all trics are cloudy, there are usually a few amber kicking around by this time. If this is what you are seeing I would be chopping personally. Great job on the grow, make sure you let us know how how much you harvested and a smoke report.

I personally like my trichs to get 30-40% amber before I chop, If I see like 30% I'll put the plant in darkness for 3 days then chop, you won't be dissapointed

It all depends on what kind of high you personally want.

I'm looking to stay away from a couchlock high. I know that DJ Short BB is 80/20 Indica/Sativa so it's going to tend towards couchlock to begin with. My only concern is that it may still be immature

seems to be the perfect time to chop her down. shes a beauty.

if your really worried about it being too early, don't chop them all down at once. take the branch that appears the most done. that way if you feel its early you can stop where you are and allow the rest to mature further.

harvesting now, with the trichs as you describe, will give you best possible chance to avoid couch lock.

if i were you, i'd be getting my scissor hand ready.
