Just for you I took a look to the Foxfarm Website.

Maybe it was not to early, I guess you should still not have used this "Ocean Mix" this soil.
It is one of the bests options for later on, but akaif it is not made for recently rooted clones so it can nuteburn some of them.

The next time, better use small 0.5L-0,75L pots with a soil mix made for seedings(like Foxfarm Light Warrior® Agro-Ponic® Grow Medium) or just any soil for cactus before planting in medium size pots for veging with Ocean Mix and an later the big ones fot flowering, to avoid nute burn.

Anyway rockwool for rooting is very good for hydroponics, but not the best option if you are going to plant in soil, rather use Jiffy or go directly for this "Light Warrior® Agro-Ponic® Grow Medium" for rooting, clones will like it and if you have enough space in your dome to give them 0,5L pots with soil like this for rooting, you can transplant them in your pots for veging without any danger as soon as they have build enough roots.
Thanks Max,
I actually went ahead and bought an aeroponic cloner today for about 300 dollars. I know its pricy but it will guarantee rooting. I was wondering if you think after some roots form if I can just go ahead and put them in the ocean Mix in the 2 gallon pots or if I should put it in the light warrior.

Also do you think I can reuse the soil of the clones I took that died. They did not root and if i take the cubes out will it be ok to reuse the soil?

Let me know what you think.

You may reuse this soil, but be carefull about insects and stuff.

Don't use 2 gallon pots from beginning, there are lots of benefits if you transplant 1-2 times!

I recomend something like this Light Warrior mix for the first few days after rooting in a very small pot, then anything like the Ocean Mix in a medium pot untill you transplant in the big pots in Ocean Mix aswell.

I don't really know a lot about aeroponic cloning, neither if this is a good idea for a further trasplant to soil, usually 90-95% of clones in Soil like the Light Warrior Mix or Jiffys will root and grow, so I don't understand why to spend 300Dollars on toys if you are growing on soil anyway, those toys are for hydroponic and aeroponic growers

I have been away on vacation for a couple of weeks and had my friend do some of the watering. While I was gone I got a new camera so it will no be easy for me to update pictures as often as possible.

OK THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE....

After cloning and planting and vegging for all this time, I have a good set up going on and i am ready to flower.

Right now I have 15 plants that are ready to go Sea of Green.

9 of them have been vegging for 2 weeks and the other 6 I just took from my aeropnic clones. I left my cloner alone for two weeks and there was a leaking problem that happened. I ended up loosing about 75 percent of them but it turns out the # that was left was the perfect amount. It is kind of a weird sign because I have the perfect # and also I wont have a bunch of clones I would not know what to do with.

So I have 15 2 gallon pots right now on a trey that is flowing down into a tiny resovoir for the run off. I am going to wait till monday so that the 6 that i just planted today to root for a few days. So on Monday I will start the flower cycle.

Here are some pics of the plants, the ones towards that back are the ones that have been vegged for 2 weeks, some are taller than the other. The front 6 are the ones that i just planted.

I also included a picture of the new cloner that I have, let me know what you think.

The cloner is a nice toy, maybe you will change to Hydro or Aero in the future then this cloner would be really helpfull!

By the way, happy new year!

yea i mean hydro involves a lot of timers and shit and pumps. It also requires getting an expensive PPM tester. Also you have to use a different mix, costs more money. Maybe one day..I already give it enough attention and with hydro it will just take up more and more of my time. Also with dirt it will taste sweeter and come out just really nice, I care about quality rather than quantity at the moment. I want to know that I can just grow something and it be the bomb.

I mean if anyone has suggestions on how i can do hydro hella cheap I would be down to know.

For the moment you are doing fine with Soil :leaf:

Hydro has not to be very expensive, economic TDS-Pens for the ppm are avalible for about 50$ you just need one normal timer more, and if you go for an ebb and flow system you can make one your self, jusst buy a pump some tubes/pipes and and a few things from your home depot and maybe an airpump for 10$ and it will workout fine if you are not Tim Taylor an mess everything up

HAHA nice Tim Taylor reference, I like it.

Well I will think about going hydro eventually but at this moment in time I think I will just stick to soil.

A few things that I need to get for my set up and then I think it will be complete. I was thinking about making my own CO2 system by using a couple of 20 OZ soda bottles and putting water sugar and yeast in them and shaking them every so often.

Also I need to buy some Molasses so that I can make the buds a little bigger and sweeter.

Everything seems to be going fine about 2 days into flower. The temperature is reaching a max of about 73 which couldnt hurt, it will just make my buds more purple. If i shut the intake fan off it goes up to about 80 degrees so I think I would rather have it be cooler than hotter right? When the lights are off Iam reaching a temp of about 63-66 which should be fine I think.

Humidity is a little bit of a problem i think because i lent one of my timers to a friend of mine. i need to get that back so I can run the deoderizer sock 15 min out of the hour instead of around the clock. I have been unpliugging it and it is getting as hi as 68.

what is the proper humidity temperature supposed to be during flower?

So, Just wanted to show you guys what it is looking like 7 Days into flowering. I am including pictures of the clones that had about 3 days of veg time, and the clones that had 2 weeks of veg time which have been there in total for about 3 weeks.

I wanted to get some suggestions on the parts of the plants that I have cut off. I cut the bottom fan leaves of the plants that were veged for 2 weeks. Check out some of the pics of those specifically cause I want suggestions on weather I should cut off another set of bottom leaves or if they look fine.

I also created some Co2 Using water, yeast and sugar and a 20 oz soda bottle. I have included some pics of them incorporated in the garden as well as individual.

I will be doing my first watering with flower nutrients tomorrow. That means adding the tiger bloom and the open sesame.

REMEMBER I GOT A SEA OF GREEN GOING ON.

Also do you think that the ones that were veged for two weeks are going to get to bushy and fan over the ones that have been vegged for just a few days. I have seperated them a little so I dont think it will happen but if i could get your alls opinion that would be great.

CHECK OUT THE PICS!!!

I paid 170 for 12 seeds a couple of months ago up in san francisco. It was pricy but I wanted to grow a strain that not a lot of people are growing right now. I am down in the so cal area and bringing this special treat around will make a lot of people happy, not just me.

Nice Work!

For shure the small ones will stay much smaller than the big ones :leaf:

the 1 week veged ones look kind of funny, really very small and bonsai like :D :D you could put about 80 of those small ones under your HPS :D :leaf: the ones 2 weeks veged will turn out very nice and bring you a lot of harvest. :weed:

In about 14 days you should have the first few little buds.

Yea..i am pretty sure I am going to take this wardrobe that i have and make it into a clone/veg chamber so I can veg the plants for a week before I put them into flowering. The cuttings that I took were really small and just about a week into flower they are begining to look like what I would want them to look like when I start the flowering. I also think I can move to 1 gallon pots so I can fit more. I might be ebing a little pre emptive considering I have not seen how they come out yet. So lets not get ahead of ourselves, but i just wanted to make a couple of notes. BS i have started this blog under a different name. I will continue to adress both blogs but I am trying to get some more people to follow. We will see how it goes.

I guess you allready know why i was talking about putting 48 clones under just one 600W HPS a few weeks ago :D

It all just depends on the size of each clone, but for a "normal" clone 2-3weeks veged, I would use more than 1 gallon, for shure if you just veg them 1 week like this small ones, there's no problem at all with just using 1 gallon and to flower a lot of them with "just" a 600W
