Dm zone vs h202

Im just wondering what people were useing to keep there res clean.
Please post what you use and the ratio you use it at.

I tried the 35% H202 and it didnt work very well for me (brown algea) and the fact that its flammable and can bleach your skin and clothes was a real turn off for me.

I now use zone at 1ml per 3L and im very happy with the results.

h202 50%
1ml per lt
had brown shit in the rez now i dont
it was only 4 days ago that i used for th first time
hows that ratio sound to you bud
i have a 40lt rez in a aero unit diy
i was told it will not fuck my plants up
what do you think

50%??? where did you get it?
1ml per 1L seems a little strong so keep an eye out for any root damage.
Then again the ratio i used didnt work so maybe your useing the right amount.


My bottle of 35% is made for plants and says you should mix it with water and let it sit for 20 minutes before adding nutes.
I also read that the lower % H202 like the kind most people have in there medicine cabinet shouldent be used because it has other additives that become a problem since you have to add so much to make up for the low H202%.

i looked to day all the roots are white
but we will see cause its going to be 40 today
and ive get no chiller so lets see how it combats this

80 - 90% run-off whats this mean

use this weekly in between nute changes...flushes everything and keeps things clean...gets rid of salt build up...better get those rez temps under control...try putting water in a few bottles...then put them in the freezer...when they are frozen take em out and put em in your rez...when they thaw just take em out and put in new ones

i use zone from the beginning and it works good. i dont know if it would fix algae though never had that.
