can some link me a great tek for using large amounts of MHRB. i can only find ones that tell you to use 100g if mhrb. Thanks!

I think he just mentioned yesterday how he wants to learn not to run where angels fear to tread.
Maybe a smaller first extraction is in order.

That's what I'm doing. Keepin' it small and simple. Im starting my tek in about 20 minutes; hope it goes well :)

the 'marsofold' tek yeilds about 1.5-4 grams, using a pound of MHRB.
depending on the source you buy the mhrb from....

Yo ANC, is it normal to get really small crystals using your tek? It worked great BTW. I'll have a final weight in a few hours.

you have small crystals because you are takeing it out of the freezer too soon, brough tthe temp down too fast, and possible disturbed the bowl.
What are you guys evaping? evaped naphta spice is horrible. You only evap till the naphta goes mily when you blow on it, then drop the temp.

I had about 100mL of naptha pulls in a container and let it sit out for 4 hours or so. I blew on it every hour but it never turned a milky. And I know what you mean when it looks milky, but it never changed. So that pan almost evapped entirely away.

Yeah for newcomers to the world of alchemy keep the extractions small at first, you don't want to lose a $100 plus worth of product in one shot. So dabble in the process and perfect the art! Good luck to all ;)

normally you only have to evap about a third down or so, it won't all go milky, it will just look milky where the air blows, and then clear out again.
oh well, if you don't know any better you are still gonna think its the best thing this side of the great divide.
