DNA lemon OG

hey ray i ran 5 pineapple chunk from seed & nothing about it matched barneys description a big let down for me i didnt know the dna-r/p lemon skunk was unavailable i always wanted to go back & run it again a bit lanky but yielded pretty decent & had frost for days flavor leaned towards lemon & not so much of skunk good potency too im gonna have to look at attitude

Never grew out the pineapple chunk and I typically hear most people saying it disappointed them. However before ever having heard of the strain I met a guy in pdx with it. Strain was super tasty, smelled of some skunky pineapple, and had good bag appeal too. Needless to say he must have lucked out and got a keeper pheno.

I hope not, but GHS Lemon Skunk is the same thing. I wouldn't want DNA regs of Lemon Skunk, I'd only want S1's personally.

The funny thing [ to me ] is that it was passed around as a 'tude freebie. I'm certain there are more than me that would never order Barney's just because of that one plant.

OG, curious why you want the S1's versus regulars? Not fishing or have anything to say, I just want to know. I am guessing you like to pick through the variants?

Because any regular version would require DNA to do the kind of selection I don't think is really possible for most modern breeders. The Lemon Skunk plant S1's are legendary in their own right. It's unlikely regulars would capture the parent as well. And I've seen the end result of the Lemon Skunk S1's and they are really damn good. That Skunk plant, like Cheese, was a 1 in a million.

loooooooool the lemon smell and taste is the dominant trait so all plants reg or s1 have it.....and just like regs you have to pheno hunt fems to find the best in pack......

as far as i know Dna have stopped making lemon skunk....i understand a few of the rp Lott have split and are doing there own thing....poss as blazzing pistilaros.....

they took the lems with them when they left word has it....

Are you saying you would rather pick from the different phenos than leave it up to the breeder to give you what they think is stable and a good representation?

ok you get different phenos in a pack if fems and different phenos with regs....you still have to select the best pheno....so going on i have to do the same work anyway i personally would rather regs as i can then pick the best male to make crosses with or to pair with my desired lemon pheno to continue the strain and further stable it, in the direction i would like to persue.....

DNA have cubed lemon skunk (bx x 4) ti stabalise the strain...

if you look up my thread dna lemon skunk and sift through the waffle everything you ever want to know about lemon skunk is in there.....

and my preferred strain is..........DNA lemon skunk.....its the pheno that's in my avi, i call it the "kings kut".....ive grown it a fair while.....and even contacted the lemon man Eddie at verde wellness centre denvor for advise on phenos.......

i didnt learn well enough about barney from the pineapple chunk deal it was after the g-13 haze from them that i came to the conclusion i was done with barney neither came close to barneys description & only 3 of 10 g-13 haze beans popped

Ok guys, I'm hurting here. My first grow was a lemon skunk auto freebie from attitude. Call it sentimental, call it nostalgia, call it whatever; but I loved the heady high I got from it. No couchlock. Bc it was a ruderalis, the high was moderate. I'd like to get my hands on some actual lemon skunk seeds but everywhere seems out of stock and it's pissing me off something fierce.

Any of you aficionados have a suggestion? Ghs is out, dna doesn't have it in stock and attitude only has the auto. I'd like a photo that I could clone/mother for a few harvests.

I'm worried that there's no way to get seeds. If I'm SOL, any suggestions for that same flavor/high profile?

Have a lemon smelling 30 year old Afghan called uncle Willy's that seems impressive. Stright up lemon pledge from this girl. She has gotten bigger then I thought for an afghan so must be a sativa from Afghanistan. I cannot stop smelling her greatness in flower.
