that second pick was a small piece from my last harvest, i nabbed the pick from page one lol ive still got 3 / 4 weeks to go...

second pik is hydrogp just done soooo hydro.... i think the lemon heads need a full smoke report mate....

OK, you are quite right LK, and I have been operating under a delusion.

I was indeed looking at the Lemon OG from DNA's Limited Collection.

Now, it does sound like this new lemon needs trying.... :0)

I guess that Lemon Skunk will require a fairy, along with LVLS. Argh! :0)

On that note, something funny happened. I thought that I had lost the
Super Lemon Haze, and I put a PK bean into that cup.

P.S. It occurs to me that if I can get the Super Lemon Haze to maturity,
then I will be as close to the Lemon Skunk as I am likely to get.

why will it be as close to the lemon skunk as you can get??

i ran sLH for 2 years its nothing like the lemon skunk, yeilds are great and it wrecks of lemons up untill 8 weeks, then boom straight haze....everytime....

i have always planned a sort of back cross lol, my LS x the SLH (which the LS is a parent off)...im sure i would acctually end up with a huge yeilding plant with at the very least a noticeable lemon smell!!

did u not get any ELL beans in your canna mothers mix???

i do have however some test beans (as far as i know there test) of

"smelly fingerez" which is a very lemony SLH pheno found by a member on here x BB's smelly cherry.....

i also have the above BX to the smelly cherry (slh (rare cut) x sc) bx sc....

o n lastly you can tell the SLH in the cup is the one on the right? i reckon it looks a day ahead of the newer pip you threw in there....but its not as fun as gusseing later on, gotta keep it interesting....

tbh honest mate i have never found them and i grew it solid for 2 years thats my SLH in my avi and theres picks of her somewere in this thread....

i always found it was lemony untill 8 weeks then changed to near enough 85% haze smell and taste, very musty n slightly fuely (we aint talking NYCD or anything)

the closest i ever got was a slight lemon hint, i have read and watched experienced growers say the same, and found its gen the noobs on there first grow that rave about its lemon taste...

the last person i can think off to describe it to a T was tga's Frenchy in that hunters of the dank, leo sayer is doing a light dep with GHS SLH and they look so fucking sexy, its a great yeilder...frenchy is asked to smell the pheno they have named "lemon frost"...he comments "not very lemoney, more hazey with a slight lemon hint"

this i have found to be the case! however the member called laz fingerez on here found the most lemon smelling pheno ever.....

all im saying is dont expect it to be very lemony...and if you do stumble on that magic pheno...please send cuts to......420 mickey mouse street.....lol

just for my own notes really......crosses planned at the end of this grow....400w coco, small pots, LS1 reversed

Ls1 x green crack (sickmeds seeds) = lemon candy crack aka kings crack...

im hopeing the very fast flowering time, and huge yeild associated with the green crack will be passed on and also its ability to change to purple very easy...basically it all the reasons its as popular as it is in the first place...i think a lemon candy falvour would zaz it up lol the plants seem very similar according to my research, other then Ls1 being of lower yeild then the GC, nugs are similar, pattern of growth is similar

this ones along the same kinda lines.....

Ls1 x The Rem (sin city seeds) = The remedy / Lemon dream.....

The rem is sin city seeds version off blue dream, tbh this idea came to me as i picked up a Lemon + blueberry lollipop at the sweet shop earlier today....you wouldnt think the flavours would work well.....but they defo do....

the blue dream is blueberry x haze.....and we only have to look at Super lemon haze to know that the lemon crossed to the haze to boost yields concept works....

so the plan here is to use the blue dreams yeilds and hazey flavours to possibly create a something better but along the lines off super lemon haze. the BD has everything that the LS dosent, in terms of yeild, the LS is a medium imo yielding connoisseur / flavor strain great taste, and high, covered in crystals it just needs to be bigger...hopefully this will achieve this.

*hso blue dream also has GREAT reviews with the majority saying there is a pheno just like the clone only....if the rem is not avalible then it may have to be this.

next up is

Ls1 x purple wreck (RP) = Lemon wreck

again the train wreck in the purple wreck should bring out a better yeild, and purple buds with that dank lemon smell has always been the one for me...the purple wreck could change to time wreck if i find out its a big yeilder....(doubt it though it not purps lol)

and lastly

Ls1 x SLH (ghs)

simples to do a sort of back cross and find a huge yielding slh to x with my indica dom Ls1 in the hope of reducing flowering time even more and boosting the lemon candy flave to the max....


ideally i would want regs but they stoped Ls reg seeds aaaaaages ago so no chance of that, hopefully i will be giving out most off the seeds for free RIU permitting (maybe p+p costs if im skint) to the lemon heads in this thread when they have room.....as they are a fem cross its not ideal however it will hopefully slightly limit pheno types.

i cant wait hopefully i can start the plants in around 4-5 weeks....

let me know what you think of the idea?
