No prob & thanks :) They're doing well now, you can see how the Pure Kush straightened up a bit from Day 31 - 33, recovering from transfer still.

Sharksbreath is doing good, the bottom leaves got a bit of water damage from sitting on wet soil during droopage, otherwise no issues. I guess the Sharksbreath could be getting more light if it weren't such a stubby plant (upper leaves blocking lower leaves), not sure if I should be concerned though, it's doing ok.

Day 33

Watered plants w. 1000ml of filtered water & nutes (each plant). Last watered on the 29th day, the topsoil was still a bit moist before watering but I went ahead anyway, hope I don't regret not waiting longer.

Day 35

Did some topping today. I might stop at 2 colas but I'm not sure, thoughts?

I'd also suggest LST, but that canopy looks pretty low and uniform already haha. That led is kicking ass.

Day 38

Plants are doing well since topping, I gave them each 950ml of water with nutes on Day 37.

Temps are getting a bit higher due to warmer weather. Sitting at around 79-83 during the day, peaking at 85 for an hour or two. They don't seem to mind, RH is 35-45, lots of airflow.

Time to step the journal up a notch, here's some video from Day 38:

& 2nd round is sprouting up in the background

Day 42

Enhanced the photos a tad

Room temps been climbing, plants don't seem to mind much at least. Averaging 84 during the day now :-?. At least I feel less worried about the temps climbing above 80 anymore, when you first start growing it seems like anything higher than 78 will be detrimental, I think I'm more grounded in my view of that now.

Watered plants on Day 41 with 1000ml each w. nutes

Sharksbreath - I unhid a bunch of leaves that weren't getting light, you'll see about 4 tops in the next photo that would normally be hidden otherwise.

Pure Kush - Not sure if topping was really necessary but doing great either way.PK-Day42.jpg PK-Day42 (3).jpg PK-Day42 (2).jpg

New Round - NEW GROWING METHOD!
So this is how I'm getting the seedlings started before transferring to starter pots. This method I can easily keep the medium from drying out, because of the larger container holding moisture longer. Under the sand is soil, the sand prevents fungus gnats from burrowing in. The white tubes (PVC Couplings) are convenient, they keep the sand away, they let me identify the plant's location easy and target it better for watering. The best thing possibly is how easy it is to transfer the seedlings, you can just bend the coupling out of the soil/sand and the plant pops out in a nice tubular plug.

Same! And plot twist. This grow has gone outdoors, I don't know when I'll update next with photos, it's a bit of a different situation now so we'll see, but if things go well I won't hold out on the outcome. I have everything documented.

Here's an update though, they've been outside for more than a few days now. I went to the spot a week before planting and dug up the spot, which was a 5'x2.5' trench roughly 2.5'-.3.5' deep and added some of the necessary outdoor nutes (guano/kelp etc.), I can get into more detail about the soil mixture at a later point.

When I went to plant them both at night it was a total nightmare, I thought I could just wing it and find my spot like in the daytime. Well I spent 2 hours wandering about aimlessly, in darkness with a flashlight (kind of risky, white led...). Note, a compass is highly recommended if not require in some cases for doing this, don't go on your intuition, especially at night. Eventually it worked out, they were planted just fine and gave them water (1/2 gallon each with nutes)

So to answer your question on when I'm flipping them, not for a while :bigjoint:They're doing great though, I'm sure the roots like the extra space also now.

I don't know if I'll post many pics going forward but here they are Day 49 (since planting seed), they're growing quick, on the left you can see where I topped the Pure Kush and how much taller it's grown since (likewise with the Sharkbreath though you just can't see as clearly where it was topped). Even the once short and stubby Sharksbreath is stretching upward now.

(this photo is two photos combined, Pure Kush on the left, Sharksbreath right)

Only pest issue so far is it looks like a coyote was digging a little into the Pure Kush, the outdoor mix I added probably had some bone meal or something it liked. The damage seemed very minimal if there even was any and I covered the root area up again. I took a leak again near the plant in hopes it will keep it away, unlikely though when there's rain.
In terms of insects everything seems good, there was a caterpillar on the Sharkbreath today but no signs of bit marks or anything. Some type of large fly was hanging out on it also.
