Do car insurance companies drug test?

Recently my mom has had newfound faith in me and is putting me back on her car insurance because I said I would stop smoking weed. She says that Geico insurance is going to come an insurance agent is going to come to our house and drug test me. She says it happened to her and that the best she can do is hold off to friday.

Do they really do this?

If so what can I do I just smoked twice yesterday and for a week and half before I was just smoking once, and before that I was an everyday 3-4 times smoker?

I have thought about fasting the rest of the week and exercising to the max I have a fast metabolism will I be able to get it out in three-four days?

No clue bro.. But I know that some company's test you for substances after you have been in a wreck

We have Allstate and they have never even brought up the subject,no idea about Geico.

I could only think of after a wreck which even then.. it wouldn't be urine that they are testing..


Eat low fat, and yes excersise loads.. I don't know if one week will do it, depends on when you last toked and how much you toked on average..


I passed a test after 3 months of non-stop daily tokeathoning in two weeks by doing that but I also have an extremely low body fat amount.

like I'm 20lbs lighter then you and only one inch shorter, so its a coin toss.. depends on how fast you can burn fat.

drink loads and loads and loads of fluids get everything out of your system good luck

If the guy insists on watching you hold it during the test then tell him to go fuck himself and sign up for progressive, they got way better rates than geico anyway. Also most states the insurance goes with "the car" and not the person. So you can drive someone else's car safely and legally without being added to the insurance. Policy holder might risk getting canceled or rate hike if you cause a wreck though but they are required to cover the damage, at least where I live. This however isn't true if the policy holder has signed you onto an exclusion list previously.

Not really with a lab, its a coin toss with that working out, just depends on his metabolism and last time toked and such. If you are going to just delude the piss why bother with that and get someone else's piss or fake urine?

I had gieco and they never came and drug tested me when i got on their insurance. I think even one of the accidents i was involved in (although not at fault) was while on their insurance and they never tested me.

I have a feeling your mom may have requested that they drug test you. or told them that you use drugs.

besides insurance agents dont usually come out unless youve been in a wreck to check your car damage and assess your losses.... so i imagine this would have to be some type of special request. are you kidding. they dont want to waste their time going to every newly covered person and make them piss in a cup.

Don't be silly. Of course they don't test. I was in the biz for many years.
Now, if you were going to work for an ins co, then they might test, but that's not what your'e describing.

I knew my mom was saying some bs just to see if I had smoked recently but she didn't scare me at all with that shit. Anyway I could get it out my system if I wanted to easy its called fasting and running (Jogging and sprints with sweatpants on and a sweatshirt on with plastic underneath it) its a trick wrestlers use to cut weight but it also will help get it out my system if I needed to you just have to make sure that you hit "The Wall" the point where your body starts to eat your fat cells to provide energy for itself basically your body will eat all your fat reserves.
