Do clones keep the sex of the donor plant?

I know stress can cause some strange things to happen to these plants, but my question is simple.

Assuming that all conditions are ideal and I do my part to control the stress of rooting clones: If I create clones from a plant that is confirmed 100% female, will those clones grow to be all female plants?

Reason I ask is I was reading a document my friend stumbled upon. I was researching on this site and actually found something that made assertions in support of the doc.

What assertions?
To answer your question. Yes, all clones will be females with all the exact same traits and qualities of the mother plant.

Thank you. That was the assertion.

The doc was stating that if you cut clones from a female plant, that all offspring would be female as well. I have not messed with cloning that much, generally just growing out from seed and culling the males.

I have 4 clones from a plant that I harvested last month and when my friend shared the information with me, I got excited. That means that I have 4 female plants!
