Do glass globe atomizers vaporize or combust oils and waxes?

The title pretty much says it all. I've heard it both ways. When using the ceramic bowl, exposed heating coil atomizer will oils and waxes vape or burn?

Combustion. Even most of the wick style pg/vg cart/clear/we/omizers burn that shit most the time.

Even if it's not red hot, chances are its burning. Even with my wands its combustion, just better cuz the heat contact is minimal.

Closest I've come to actually vaporizing concentrates would be the SSV Oil Kit with ceramic discs but even then pretty sure its combustion.

The Cera seems like it might come close as well but have not tried yet. Oh and the Eclipse seems like you could make it vape.

Touching cool wax to a hot enough surface causes most of it to vaporize. Quenched too cool or too hot and more is degraded / oxidized / wasted.

Dropping little flakes of winterized shatter in my atmos pen blows my mind. Most intense clear high off such a benign smooth hit. Stopped using my nail for a while since this is easier and just as effective with good oil.

That's what I thought. I still love the hits of QWISO I get from these globe pen setups. Hits are tastey and smooth. Two hits and I'm good for hours and its so quick and easy. I'm really starting to like these more and more.

Sorry but pens, atmos specifically, suck. lol.

And you are def combusting with raw concentrate and a coil.

There is a clear difference between smoke and vapor. The big puffs of smoke you get from pens or dabbing is smoke and tastes exactly like it smells. Vapor is very thin and light and always has that cannabis vapor taste to it.

99.99% of people are combusting their concentrates. Which is the whole point, instead of smoking 10 joints worth of flower I can smoke a few dabs worth of concentrate.

I've got 4 different vaporizers, a Ego battery, a variable voltage battery, a GLV5v, and an Ascent. I haven't used the Ascent with any concentrates yet and probably will not. The Ego battery is a little too weak, the GLV5v works well but is a bit hot, the variable voltage works best for both taste and smoothness. I usually use the middle setting, forgot what voltage it is. It's so easy and efficient using this setup. Im all about being fast, easy, and clean. I realize that the nice water pieces with the hot nails, domes, etc. are probably the best to get the most out of smoking concentrates I'm just not ready to get into all that yet.

Don't get me wrong, pens work well for portable concentrate smoking. I've just never found one I like. I'm all about flavor and they just don't deliver for me.
