I had a pic but it wasn't good, too close with a crappy tablet camera! The buds aren't rotten from within like bud rot. Probably the grape vines as herb mentioned but before it was legal they were great camo, no grapes off them yet, been on the fence for years. I've only caged in my grow for 3 years, don't remember getting anything before enclosing. I use large pots so they aren't in the ground.There was a grower on here years ago that was infested with RAs. He had to rid his yard of all the wild grapes to finally beat them.
Do you have a pic of the stunted purple buds you're talking about? Or something close from Google?

Here the killer is brambles they aint bad so much for pathogens just fuckers to get rid of i dont think ive ever even seen wild grapes i know the cultivated ones can get botrytis like most plantsWe were making wine for a few years
