Do hot peppers prevent pest? And if so can they be used like a ferment to feed crops and prevent pest? The ph might be too far off that’s why I’m asking

I have pest damage across 6 pepper varieties. A few varieties maybe. Of pests that is.

Better off looking at common fungal issues they are not afflicted by.
