Do I absolutely have to transplant?

Hi I made mistake on first grow put two plants in terracotta pots and they won't comeback out. Would I get by with 21 cm terracotta pots until the end?there 3 weeks old growing grand. They Should I try break open the pots or just flower early? All help appreciated

Pics?

I would cut around the inside of the pot with a long knife or ruler, try to free it up.

21 cm is around 8", too small to flower a decent size plant in. You'd be watering twice a day.

You should be able to get it out, may be a two person job with one person holding the pot upside down and the other gently pulling it out. I've done it with plastic decorative pots it they came out, try waiting until the soils dry and it should stay together. Or maybe try something thin and long to work around the soil and pot to loosen it.

Take a small garden trowel or big spoon and scoop them out. You don't have to break your pots.

I'd just let them go until the plants are twice as tall as the pot, Then flower.

Good luck, BigSteve.
