PLease have a look at my babies. They have been flowering for about 9 weeks and the leaves are spotty and yellowing. they look ready to chop i think. Although i have looked at the tricomes and only the occasional one has turned amber. i harvested a small plant about 3 weeks ago and it smoked quite nicely.

So the questions are do i chop now or do i wait untill more tricomes have changed colour? I'm worried if i leave much longer without fixing the problem with the leaves i might ruin my crop?

This is my first grow and have put a lot of time, effort and research into it. Please help!!!!

I don't see much wrong with it. considering your at the end of your grow you've done really well. i'd say another day or 2. have your heard of using a black light to double frosting on the buds? also did you flush your plant. usually people do it a couple of weeks b4 harvest!!!

Hi, washed through the soil a coulpe of weeks ago, but i then read that if you stop feeding than it can stress the plant and shouldn't be done. so i have been feeding with Ionics Bloom.

Black light? Is that a u.v. light? Is it worth doing at this stage?

The a large majority of pistills have changed colour but tricomes haven't do you think i should wait until they do or chop in a couple of days. I have a lot more bud than i thought i would so i'm really happy.

Thanks

its your preference when to chop. i'd be patient and hang on if your looking to chop once say 70% of the tri's are amber! you shouldn't be feeding nuits now otherwise your bud's gonna taste of it! once you flush you don't feed after this. SO IM AWARE OF!!!

They are looking about there, the leaves really arent going to set you back at all, if you believe there is still time to go from looking at the trichomes, then the more damaged leaves I would actually remove, the plant will be using its energy to try and repair them, by the looks of it you got more than enough leaves anyway so taking a few of the worst ones off isnt going to hurt.

Give it hps all the way if you got it. i wouldnt even bother with any darkness at the end before the chop either, what I would say though is the day you chop, the final day, give it 24 hours light.

If the plant is recieving light then it using that energy and growing, if its in darkness then it is not photosynthesizing, now seeing as its the last day before the chop why not give it that extra energy because its not going to get time to reveg.

It's TNR which is an outdoor variety. I was going to grow outdoor but changed my mind. I couldn't wait till end of summer to smoke it and seemed a lot safer to grow indoors.

9-12 weeks flowering on that, if your at week 9 and your not sure they are ready let them carry on a bit, I bet they still got some more growing to do yet. just keep a close eye on those trichomes over the next week or so, you may well get to chop them early but its 12 weeks max.

Did you start the count from the time you switched to 12/12 or from when you first saw sex.

could be longer i don't really remember the date. 9 weeks approx. I vegged for longer than i was suppossed to as i started them under flouresant and had to wait for hps. I flowered early and then vegged again so i could sex them. Next time i'm going to buy feminized only.
They are now about 2 feet tall and i have had to tie them up as they are soooo top heavy. I'm kind of out of time but can let them go a bit longer if absolutley nessecery.

you can snip them rite this minute if you wanted to if your short on time just cut them letting them go longer will ony change the high but if you look your buds are pretty ripe so it will be a good buzz just make sure you dry them rite and dont quickdry them and youll be happy trust me:)
