Do I have too many small sites?

Hello, I’m growing 3 photos and my canopies are a little different from what I normally aim for.
There’s only about 9 main branches per plant and I’ve bent and tied down where each branch has a bunch of small shoots coming off it. They are getting direct light.
But I’m wondering if I should prune off some of the inside ones and let the ends get more love. I’m about ready to flip and the way they are now, I’ll a lot of small tops. Should I keep things as is, or is there a benefit to only having a couple laterals on each main ??
The pics show a side view and one from the top.
Thanks all.IMG_8948.jpegIMG_8949.jpeg

I been realizing lately my clones just throw out more dominants than satelites with lollipop and defoliation. Then sometimes like lately maybe due to winter its just the 8 main nodes I topped at and the rest satalites. A bigger plant snuck in one or two fat colas.

So yea I been thinking I can only grow with it not force it to do things but guide it there. With some training. I veg for 8-11 wks and the latter didnt create more dominant sites.

My pheno needs no net mostly and just grows a certain way I should add pics. Some strains will grow a lot of branches or few dominants or even this pheno will grow a bunch of doms through super cropping and forming a whole new canopy through all the little nodes.

Just every run is different. I want to try monster cropping for a bunch of tops but theyre all smaller. Im just a habitual guy changes things minimally. So in short they look good they may or may not thicken up we will see.

I wrestle with this question every grow. I think some plants do better with smaller sites and some like the main big ones. I've gotten dense mids from one plant, but larfy trash from the one next to it, both from the same seed pack.

I even ran a clone of a plant, genetics I'm otherwise familiar with as well, leaving more lowers, and didn't see a noticable difference in top-bud yield (I don't weigh yields). But again, that was just the one plant.

I have a white widow plant that has absolutely refused to stop popping pistles at every freaking node it can. Just started week 9 flower and this morning again I got new sites.
This plant I did a fimm on and the hormone response from that has never really slowed. I was under the impression that when you removed a pistle node it would not grow back.
That information is not true.

Unfortunately, this is something that varies by genetics. Some plants will blow up and grow to be 3x their original size in flower and stretch out their side branches and fill in nicely with stacks of buds. Other plants will just throw flower sites and golf ball sized buds at every node, and barely stretch or fill out. It’s just not very predictable.

For example, I have 2 “sisters” in my grow journal from the same seed pack. I transplanted and flipped them both into flower at clone size, at the same time, with the same soil mix and everything. One is branchy, stretched out, and is filling in nicely. The other grew into a single-cola style plant with little tiny satellite branches and really poor branching overall. You just have to flower the plant out and see what it wants to do, and then train the plant accordingly for the next time.

Thanks for the advice. Everything I’ve grown for the last 3-4 yrs I’ve trained for a fairly flat canopy with lots of tops…..but no huge main colas. I lollipop fairly aggressively but always wish I’d taken off more at the end of the grow.
The only time I’ve grown the same strain twice was when one plant self pollinated and I had just a few S1 seeds.
I think I’m gonna buy some clones after this run…..
