I know a fan blowing on the plants makes stems stronger to hold more weight and also "feeds" more CO2. I've got great ventilation w/passive intake (6" duct fan w/2" intake) so am not so worried about CO2/air exchange, but if I'm always going to pull what would become the primary producing branch down 90 degrees w/lst, are "strong" stems that important b/c I'm not going for a lot of height.
