I always though that you should mix in the order of the highest N containing part to the lowest- at least that's what the person said over the phone, when I call Advanced Nutrients
Could be. I always added gro, micro, bloom, then calimagic. In that order. So.. you could be right.. who knows.
Highest to lowest N isn't a bad way to do it, but it's a tad oversimplified. If you want a single rule to follow, that's a good one.

The one thing I would say, is to always add Micro first. In the three-part it's the one that has the highest concentration of "does not play well with others" solutes. You want that one diluted first, every time.

As far as the use of Cal Mag with Advanced Nutrient is concerned, it's already been answered very well here. All I would say is that in addition to it being different depending on strain, Advanced Nutrients says they make Cal Mag mainly as a fix for other brand nutrients that don't have enough. I haven't ever needed it with AN nutes, and I think most people have had the same experience. I could be wrong on that, and of course if your strain needs more Cal Mag of course you could give it to them. Just don't make the mistake of thinking that since you needed it with some other brand you'll automatically need it with AN. They have a much better balance of nutrients for MJ than anyone else IMHO. Probably because they don't hide behind tomatoes.

I just add my nutes and makes sure they are stirred and mixed in very good. I adjust my PH to whatever I need it to be. No particular order really. Mix nutes, then correct ph.
I've heard many times with the three part, you should add the MICRO first and shake/stir thoroughly, then add the rest of your nut's???

So is it not true that you don't need to use cal-mag when running an RO system. Years back I was told to bring ppm up to 150 and then add the rest of nutes. And for my 2 cents on the order that the nutes should be applied, I've read in the A.N. magazine (can't remember the name of it) that you should add in sensizym first to allow the oxegen bring alive the many enzimes and then add in the rest of the nutes with the base nutes being last.
