i already have an inline exhaust fan running with passive intakes throughout the dark time because it is also my exhaust for my 24-0 veg room. is it gonna make a big difference if i turn off the circulating fans during the dark period? do the plants need the fresh air as much while asleep? or will the gentle flow of the passive intakes be enough?

Ya I would leave it on, why do you want to turn it off?

I have a passive intake in my tent and a small oscillating clip fan on one of my cross bars that I leave on 24/7. Gotta get those stems strong enough to hold those massive buds :bigjoint:

I have a 6"inline split for 1/2 exhaust. A 6" inline for intake. A 6" oscillating under my canopy. And a 16" oscillating on my canopy. The exhaust is hooked to a day/night speed controller (mercury 4). The rest run 24/7 in a 5' x 5' tent. I move air.

the exhaust fan has the power to replenish the spent CO2 on it's own. I have a series of fans circulating the heat from the lamps and to obviously move the air around the room while the lights are on. Temperature isn't an issue with the lights off. My question is, would there be any benefit other than cost, to turn off my circulating fans with the lights. Possibly cut back on water loss in the night helping them build better reserves in the leaves for the upcoming "Day"? And thanks for the posts.
