So why don't you be a bit more patient? we're not online all the time.
If you'r really in a hurry you could just google up SCROG journals and see what people do.

The answer is no.
You don't NEED to. You can and it will encourage lower branches to come up, but people claim the leaves are more important.

I trim a sandwich bag of leaves per week for the first month or so of flowering.

the leaves on your plants are food for the buds when photosynthesis takes place. so i wouldnt cut them off at all just tie them back some how? paper clips mabe?
once there over 50% yellow you could take them off. i usually wait until there really yellow

Man your scrog looks great!! As for the leaves, i wouldn't do it man. i would't cut any off. Let them die of their own volition and then remove them, but even then I wait until they are DEAD LEAVES. If you need some penetration into the canopy do this; tie the leaves down with the stems of their neighbor leaf. Yeah the leaf after you do this may not get enough light, and it will yellow or maybe die, but in the mean time the plant will use the carbs, and other shit stored in that leaf. I try to never, never take leaves off, after my initial pre flower thinning/lolipopping that is.

Tying the leaves down will restrict air flow and raise the chances of mold.

The fan leaves don't produce much energy and you can supplement carbs with molasses.

I take leaves off all the time, some strains just don't like it all that much. Some LOVE it.
