Do male plants flower with 12 hours of light??????

Have always heard males flower at 3 to 5 months regardless of how many hours a day of light. Took cuttings 2 weeks ago, put into 12 hours of light, and the only recognizable flowers have been male. Saw a thread on another site, that claims reduced light will make males flower, but this contradicts everything else I have read.

Would appreciate being pointed to any good information on this subject.

Thanks,
Z

Male plants will continue to grow as long as they are on 18/6 cycle, yes they will flower if you flip to 12/12. but only if on 12/12.

Thanks for the answer!!!! That is what the other site inferred. He actually said the males will show quicker than the females.

I learned from old books written in the 1970's (Ed Rosenthal).
