While I mostly agree with @Gond00s , I will also say that you get to decide when they are done. I have harvested many plants 'early' and I have let some plants go well beyond 'done'. Normally people ask because they are getting antsy in the pantsy. My suggestion:
Take a sample, something small enough to enjoy a few joints or whatever. While you wait for that sample to dry, you get another week or so worth of flowering done.
If you can handle the dry bud and be 'happy' with the result, who's to say when you should cut it down but you?
on the flip side, if you can tell the bud is lite, airy, and lacking in structure, its a clear indication that it's too early.
It's win/win, you get to smoke a sample and the plant gets more time to flower.

thanks guys. That’s the best thing I’ve heard THT now im tempted to go and chop a bud off lol. I will wait another week at least. I was expecting about another 2 weeks going of what it said on the site I got the seeds from, but I already stopped giving it nutrients, yesterday was first time with just water, should I continue just water now Untill the end?

You've got at least 4 weeks. Testing has showed that feeding up til the end increases weight thc and terps

Removing the nutrients is a flawed idea. With a commodity crop like Cannabis you want it to be in top condition when the chop comes. You aren't going to achieve that by starving the plant. The idea of flushing is complete nonsense, it doesn't happen with any other crop.

However, if grown in soil, there is a law of diminishing return. The soil will have built up a level of nutrient, so what I do for the last couple of weeks is slowly reduce the amount of nutrient I mix up. I will go to 75%, then 50%, the 25% and just plain water for the last couple of days.

But as others have said you aren't anywhere near that point yet.

How do you agree yet at the same time tell him to do that? The plant is done when it’s done. I want to know who you know or knew that pulled something too late? Are almost impossible to do.

Feed them. They’re hungry. If you’re out of smoke and impatient get a jar of delta 8 to hold you over. Shits dirt cheap.

I agree because that plant needs 2-4 more weeks to be 'done' from a flowering perspective.
There's nothing wrong with harvesting a personal grow/plant early, there's nothing wrong with taking a sample of the bud early on to get an idea between the dry bud and the live bud. Most new growers assume because the bud looks big its gonna be full and dense when its dry, my advice and suggestions encourages a deeper understanding that will help the grower understand why its too early and doesn't really hurt the grow at all. Maybe they've never seen or smoked premature bud, either way this is a learning opportunity and people shouldn't take it so seriously that it will inhibit a grower from gaining experience in their own ways.
This is a 'learning as we go' type of hobby and I think my advice is going to be one of many different types of advice OP receives.

I have left plenty of lowers to go far beyond 'done' and the buds just start to dry up and die.

OP run that girl til done …. However long.
Disregard bro science horse shit about “ early pulls “ …. The “ whole idea “ is to take down mature flowers not some shortcut.

The last 2 weeks of actual grow puts on final weight.

Think about it …. Why go thru the expense , time , and effort just to kneecap the results?

This hard up approach to “ sample “ immature buds is ridiculous… reminds me of those guys rifling thru old ashtrays looking for a smoke.

They should be decent size and dense. IMHO those plants above have more then 4 weeks before done. But to be fair if he smoked immature bud he would remember the headache and the lack of a proper high or flavor.

Thanks everyone for the reply’s. I will continue feeding for another week at least then start lowering the dose of nutrients. The leaves are turning yellow pretty quick now.. should I just remove them once there dead

I dont play around with flower, the timers punched, why cut back nutes should feed more as it gets bigger as it will take it and use it. During the end of flower plant doesnt produce much new roots. New root tips absorb nutes the most effective. Since preflower cleanup lve removed very few leaves, lots of dead hanger ons under the canopy but fuck it, theyll dry up and fall off sooner or later. Trying to adapt to kiss method. It works. Btw plant could go 12 or more weeks or longer if any issues occured during cycle.
