lol... So there's nothin better than Fox Farm right? Is that what you fuckers are sayin? So what can I buy at HD or Lowe's? I found the closest place that sells FF but it's alot further than HD or Lowe's from me. I know there's Something at one of those places that's half ass decent. So what is it?

I'm skeptical that it's just the mg soil. My first grow was with mg with a little added Earth Juice nutes and I had a pretty decent harvest 2+ oz per plant in 90 days from seed. I switched to sunshine mix and EJ nutes, after hearing so many people trash mg, and I'm having the exact same problem as you- the plants have stopped growing. I'm at like 75 days and my white widows are scrawny and suffering, barely a foot tall. I probably overwatered but the plants are basicly useing NO water now and won't dry out! Next grow I might give FFOF a try but right now I wish my girls were in mg.

i think theres somethin called nutrient lock, where if you over do it, it builds up on the roots and stops them from absorbing water

Please excuse me as I elbow my way through this crowd of Fox Farm sales folk!
I start everything, seeds, cuts, whatever with M.G., + SUPER thrive and Liquid Seaweed. All, available locally at your favorite garden shop.
Pictures below will show the products and the results.
Good luck & good grow.......BB bongsmilie

I'm sorry, but could you please expand on "get his hands dirty". Both of these items are liquid supplements, and I've never gotten MY hands dirty adding them to the waterings.......BB

hes previously stated he didnt want to bother with mixing anything and wanted the simplicity of a single bag.

getting your hands dirty is also metaphorical.

Ok so what soil should I get? A premix would be ideal for me. I have Home Depot and Lowe's near me. Does it have to be expensive?
Generally speaking, you get what you pay for. But it helps to know what you're looking for. MG is on the "hot" side right out of the bag (high N), so you're best not to even think of adding nitrogen during veg which includes not using any fish emulsion or other "non-burning" nitrogen additives. Your plants are smarter than you think.

Grab some Scott's soil, worm castings (enough for 25% mix), perlite (10%), epsom salts (1/8 to 1/4 cup in a large bag of soil) and if you're into it, toss in some alfalfa (meal is easiest, 1/4 cup per bag of soil). Or if you want one stop shopping as you say, as those who have gone before me stated, source out some Fox Farm and use that.

And for the record, a well balanced "soil" is something you grow plants in. Dirt, is what you dump out of your vacuum cleaner.
