Do plants smell during vegetation?

I want to let the plants vegetate in my closet and then I will place them somewhere else for flowering. My concern is whether the plant will have odor before I begin to flower. and if so would it be minor and not too noticeable?

its very minor , but im sure its strain dependent but i think in general they dont stink that bad at all in veg , nothing a spray of air freshener cant kill.

i mean unless you have like 50 plants goin , i wouldnt worry about it most people do not use carbon filters for their veg chambers , i personally dont and have 3x ak48 and a bubblicious clone about 7-8 inches high now , i dont smell anything lol...a yard or two away from me.

They smell like fresh growing plants IMO... the "stink" you're worried about doesn't happen until flower

my plants smell, and the more light i have them under the faster they grow and the faster they grow the more they reek for some reason. its not knockin my nose off, but its a definite smell.

i have one bonsai mother vegging in a pc box in my bedroom. i dont smoke in my bedroom yet it always has the faint smell of dank. i suppose it would be easy to cover up if i wanted to but i enjoy it
