Your Right I didn't mean to shit on you or come of testy, sorry, It doen't matter what anyone else thinks , if what your doing works for you then thats all that matters. but here is the thing if your going to proclaim something at least have something creditable to back it up. your pics don't do that. I could write a book why your post is wrong and comes off silly. but i'm going to leave it alone, good luck in the future.

Somehow the negative comments miss the point. This is a very small rootball that produced a very large plant considering the size of the rootball. What's so hard about that?

No its simply wrong , your plant didn't out grow your root ball, your plant is not very large considering the size of the rootball. I think that is where your confusing yourself.

i'm running bennies for the first time and my roots are white as snow. they have filled up a GH waterfarm completely.
What???? Really rkymtnman ive seen so many posts from you about sterile. Just trying something new or did sterile fail for you? Just wondering cause i switched to sterile cause of your post and it solved my root rot problem i had with bennies.

Very large is a stretch to put it kindly. I suggest you go look at the Solo cup grow thread if you really feel you've got something special.

nope, just trying something different. i switched cause i tried out GH floranova bloom which has organics in it which sterile does not work well with. and then i tried out greenleaf mega crop which also has organics in it.

i still have my 1 pound bag of HTH from like 5 years ago. lol.

so far, both are working equal, sterile and bennies.

how is your situation since you switched to sterile? sounds like it's working well for ya! good to hear!!

Sterile has been working great way better than bennies for me anyway it might have been the wrong kind of castings or mycos but my root rot problem got worse when i added bennies... :( so i tryed sterile and its working great. I also switched to flood and drain instead of dwc to increase the amount of oxygen my roots get

I see a bunch of roots with not many fine feeder roots. The fine feeders are the one that do the work of nutrient uptake.
