What does keeping the PK levels at range mean? I'm a first time grower and im 32-36 days into flower right now! Growing 2 sativas, super lemon haze and I can tell they are gonna be 11-12 week strains
It's the ratio you have to use in every stage of cannabis growth. If phosphorus and potassium are lower than nitrogen, buds will develop slower. And if you don't feed enough PK flowers will also be smaller and you will get less yield. It's all about balance, not giving plants shitloads of nutrients like most people do. Usually any nutrient brand will provide a feeding chart (for example, search Biobizz chart and you will see). If not, you gotta be careful of what you feed and keep ratios right. For example, I use blood meal in veg stage. Keeps my plants green because it has a lot of nitrogen. But doing this in late flowering would be a bad idea. Nitrogen keeps your plants green. Green= Chlorophyl. You want the chlorophyll to break down before smoking your bud, or it will taste harsh/weird. That means only PK is needed to fatten up buds in the last 2 weeks, so the nitrogen ratio is 0:
