Do these plants already have nute burn?

It's been 15 years since my last grow -- it's already been a really humbling experience. So much is similar, but a lot of the tech has evolved. But my nutrient knowledge is rebuilding. Anyways, was hoping to post here in a couple weeks outlining my grow, the build, etc., but had created this account knowing it was likely I was going to need it.

These are pics of 3 sprouts going into what I'd consider the 6th day of their first real week of veg. I began germination 3-30. I moved them into a small, temporary DWC system under an HLG 550 (the blue spec one) initially at about 20% power, dialing it up each day a bit but have stopped it at about 40% power -- 32" from the tops. They're in rockwool cubes sat in hydroton. No drip lines here -- What I do is keep the water level up bubbling beneath the rockwool and drop it with an adjustable float valve as the roots develop (there's RO water coming in to that valve). First roots are showing through the hydroton.

Water temps have been stable at around 64-65, Ph stable at around 6.0-6.1, room temp lower than I'd like at about 65 F and humidity low as well at about 45%. I'm using the Fox Farm Hydroponic feeding schedule and shooting for a 1/4 to 1/3 of the recommended strength. There's a small amount of superthrive in there -- about a 1/2 mL. They initially received the amount under seedlings and then when I swapped out the res I upped them into Week 1, shooting for a 1/3 strength. So, the water is at about 325-350 PPM. That doesn't seem unreasonable to me, but this looks like what I remember nutrient burn looking like. This would have been 4-10 when I upped the nutes a bit and initially two of the three started to shoot up -- the smallest I noticed nute burn on first, 4-13. Yesterday I noticed what looked like it might be the beginning on the two taller ladies. But it's progressed a bit.

Unfortunately, all I have in that room is that blue spec HLG 550, so these pictures were taken under that. I'll get a work light in there as I build the room. I'm building the permanent set up as these ladies grow -- talk about working against a clock. Never have I had as much motivation to complete a house project.

I've reviewed some pictures here and the stickies in this thread, so that's kind of confirmed that suspicion. I'm a teacher, always requiring my students to have reviewed the material, and having done that now I believe that what I should do here is possibly swap out the res, flush the medium and bring the nutes back down to a quarter strength for another week, given how young they are. But my first rule as a grower has always been.... DO NOTHING. So I've been doing that but this appears to be progressing ;).

I'd like to not kill these ladies if possible and so I come here, hat in hand, asking for help, assuring you I'll pass it along! <3 Thanks in advance for your time and help.

You don't need much nute knowledge if you do it like me. I use miracle grow potting soil with no soil compaction and bone meal minimum 2 weeks into flowering. I've grown hydro with excellent results too but never beats the miracle grow with adding bone meal. Another really good addition is worm casting. Ive used lets grow a and b by get, and it was great but not as great as the miracle grow in how dark green the leaves become and amount of flower sites, although light helps lots. Here is 1month veg 1mo flowering 3 plants. 2bare slower at flowering

When using worm casting, only a very thin layer just below where your transplanted plant will sit into largest container

I can get it down to that, but do you think that's the sole issue here? They can access nutes at 6.0 and 6.1, so I don't see those levels being that significant. I always kept my systems between 5.8 and 6.2 in the past and don't recall anything in that causing this issue. Let me know your thoughts and thank you for taking the time to respond.

My ph is at 9, despite starting very first watering and germination watering with low sodium spring water. I use 9ph tap water the rest of the way, i always get couch locking high potency indica end results

No, ph is rarely the problem and is usually overthought. Like ive said many times, i start mine in an average ph6 low sodium spring water and then 95 percent of the rest of the watering at ph 9 chlorinated city water. Had excellent grows many times with it.

Lots of times people think nute deficiencies or excess is the prob but from plant start to finish what is nutes if your soil is too chunky and compaction not able to even uptake the nutes in the first place aka smothered roots

Soil compaction is the biggest problem people are having from the root only partly tapping through the soil to later root rot and poor nute uptake problems. Only when tired of repeating do people start listening
Hey I appreciate your guidance on soil but this is a hydro grow -- It sounds like you're trying to push me in a direction that I simply can't go right now based on your initial post. I already have everything for this grow, nutes, etc. So although I appreciate this information a lot of it does not seem relevant to my above questions. Not trying to be rude here, I truly do appreciate the advice, but my situation is my situation -- so I'd appreciate feedback relevant to it specifically. Not a soil grow.

I think your marbles are a bit compacted if you think anyone is running ph 9 in hydro.
And you still aren't helping. Some of us want to find out whats wrong with the plant.
Thank you. Any thoughts? What I'm about to do is pull out a bunch of water -- dropping the PPM down to about 200 I'm thinking, maybe less -- backfilling with RO and then dropping the Ph down to appropriate levels. So not a full flush -- I'm thinking these two better ones look healthy enough that this is probably the right route.

Try upping your nutrients to 900 to 1100 ppm. Looks more like a deficiency. Your ph is ok between 5.8 and 6.2. Even a foliar feed. Flush and feed. My go to nutrient is always General Hydroponics. Any issues they sort it out.

I'm giving it a hand watering at 600 but foliar feeding makes me nervous tbh. Bringing nutes up too. Thank you for the posts!
600 is low. I used to do that and build to 1100,1200, After reading Renfro's grow journals after my clones have established in the new pots about 3 days. I go straight to 1100 ppms, Haven't seen any burn. They love it.
