Do trichomes grow back?

Then rub the trichomes off one of the leaf finger but not the other one. Take another microscopic picture. Then in a week or two take more pictures and see if they start up production in that area that was wiped off! If I can find time for such an experiment I will let you guys know. I have the plants and equipment. Problem is that I am watching the Olympics and running a train on my dab rig! I got some water hash interfering with my schedule!
