If a bud is squeezed, or rubbed against something while flowering, do the damaged trichomes grow back, or new ones grow in their place?

I would love to test this to see what actually happens. Maybe I can select two fingers on a sugar leaf. Take microscopic pictures. Then rub the trichomes off one of the leaf finger but not the other one. Take another microscopic picture. Then in a week or two take more pictures and see if they start up production in that area that was wiped off! If I can find time for such an experiment I will let you guys know. I have the plants and equipment. Problem is that I am watching the Olympics and running a train on my dab rig! I got some water hash interfering with my schedule!

They seriously have to consider combining weed and the olympics....

The 200m Dash to a bong hit at the finish line...

Who can make the most bubble hash out of a oz...

The long jump over a pit of nasty bong water...
