Hi RIU,
I am growing Himalaya Gold right now and have come across a few little problems. It seems like either I have nute burn or a defiency. If I could get some feedd back to what this might be it would be greatly appreciated thank you.Here is some info about my grow.
Plant Age-1 month 2 weeks
Plant Height-25 inches
Light-1000 watt air cooled hps
Light Height-24 inches
PH-5.6
PPM-400
Nutrients-Advanced Nutrients 3 part Grow,Micro and Bloom.
Temp-73-81
Grown In-5 gallon dwc buckets
You can notice that on one picture that the new growth is coming in all twisted and deformed.

obvious nute burn. you know you got it when like all the tips of your leaves are burnt like yours seem to be

woops...i was saying... i dont really know how a dwc system works as ive never seen one before....
but you need to find a way to water your plants with clean water for a few days...

Doesn't 400 ppm seem low for a plant thats my size?? At 1 1/2 months and over 2 feet tall you would think it needs more not less. But I guess dwc takes less.

Sorry dude, no cure for that.
What you have there is aliens! Yes aliens, they come into our atmosphere as little spores and propogate inside your marijuana plants until they take it over. When you harvest the bud and smoke it, it will get into your lungs and take you over as well!!! You're gonna turn into this crazy green dude and sprout fan leaves out of your head and your dick is going to fall off and all you will have is pollen sacs!!!

Also it says your temps get up to the 80's, that might not be the problem but it definitely isn't going to help. 76 should be your peak temp, and get down to 65 in your dark period.

Thanks for the help. Usually my temp is at a constant 75. Its only been 80 maybe a handfull of times.

Does any one know if its normal to have little roots in the dwc resivor when I change the water. Seems like the last two times I change the res. there was little pieces of roots in the water..

I remember reading a bit about hydro and they mentioned making sure to clean out root bits so I am guessing its normal. Could be wrong though.

how bad is it to flush with tap water that is pH adjusted (chlorine and chloramine)
