but i do want to say that you have a very nice way of lookin at religion puffpuff, you looks at the values that are trying to get across, you sees that man causes any and all problems when it comes to religion being used negatively. i support your beliefs and it gives me hope for others. if the values that got across were the values that everyone actualy had, societys in general wouldnt fail at all, there wouldnt be any problems, but people look at what is right in front of them, they dont look past the words, they dont read between the lines. what is writen is the word of god, and the word of god is infalable... because the book says so...

i just want to make myself clear here, i support any and all personal religions, what i talk about is religion that has been used strictly to influence people. if you study/practice your religion by yourself, at home or with loved ones, thats great! keep it up! thats how it should be! for those that live by the church, im sorry... but not really...

I'm sorry, i sympathise with the anti-bush sentiments here but comparing an 'extended military campaign' with the genocide committed by either Hitler or Stalin is really going WAY too far. Bush is a mass-murdering fuck-head, but he is a little shy of the 11m Hitler record, way off Mao Tse-Tung's 40m and not even close to the approximate 50m deaths that can be attributed to Stalin.

idk, i really expected there to have been alot more casualties over there than there has been, on theyre side at least, i figured alot more than 1 million people died there... i guess that kinda made me sound like an ass... but

Stoney, i understand your an athiest, but NON of you athiests will look at things from my level. You blind yourself with this premonition that god is being forced into the heads of millions for THOUSANDS of years against their own will. When in fact people for thousands of years have worshiped the bible becuase it brings hope to those that have no hope, ESPECIALLY people in poverse living conditions.

To be honest you athiest "believers" have it all ass backwards. Again I can not stress enough that Religion is not about worshiping some superficial being in the sky. its about having faith that you can make something positive of your time here on earth. First off i didnt ask any of you to read my posts, you chose to do so.

Second, ive been (obviously) trying to explain religion to a group athiests wall: ) who are so wrapped up in why "religion is so bad for everyone" when in fact Religion its self (not the church) is a tool for man to use to create (or try to) a civilization that trys to unite over a "common good".


I now understand why no one fights with Athiests about their beliefs, Ignorance is truely bliss on their part.
