i dont understand how anyone can believe that there is a near infinite number of stars and plants in outerspace and we are the only life! That is just pure ignorance.

I don't understand how anyone can have even a tenuous grasp of physics and the amount of space that separates us from the rest of the stars, and think that aliens are showing up here. That is true ignorance.

How exactly do you get from "there are lots of stars (near infinite in your own words - which is not true. It is a finite number)" to "aliens visit earth"? How could they even possibly know to show up at earth? How do they know what they are going to find? Or do they just stop at every planet in the universe, even with a "near infinite" amount of stars?
