Do you have a side job?

Just curious, how many of you guys have jobs you do on the side outside your regular job? It seems like that's becoming more and more the norm these days from conversations with friends.

What do you do? How long have you been doing it?

i do plumbing but i also do masonry on the side. i like building shit. been doing it for like 8 months maybe? its nice to switch it up every once in a while and do something different. @Aeroknow 's post about welding has me thinking about also getting back into that.

Hey, Pad. I grow weed as my main income, but I also play music on the side (classical violin and viola). It's probably more accurate to switch those two things - if I count practicing into my music, that's at least 4 extra hours per day. Also, come night time I am Batman...

I don't work full time but I have multiple sources of income. My main is the deer pick up which I spend about 20-25 hours a week doing. I also raise beef and have a rental property. I get asked to do all kinds of jobs by locals too, excavation work, carpentry, fixing shit, etc...

I retired in May, 2015.

I didn't want to, but the greedy corporate pigs that owned the company announced that they were locking us out if we didn't accept 145 concessions.

So, I worked the picket lines (got stoned with buddies while holding signs) for a few months.

Then I hired 4 of them to help me remodel a house. They got called back 3 months later. The company got 2 of their 145 concessions. Lol. 2. My people were off 7 months. But when they lock you out, you aren't on strike so they got unemployment compensation plus union strike pay plus $15 an hour from me. They actually broke close to even.

I've been working on remodeling ever since.

I expect to attempt retirement again this May.

I don't have the highest hopes that I will be good at it. I have to do something or I get bored, especially after getting stoned.

I never get 'couch lock', I get interested in improving something. I really don't know how much money I wasted fixing things that were fine to begin with according to the wife. Lol.

Fuckin Kenny!

What would have been a 100-150 dollar job turned me into an owner of a welder.

Kenny is an asshole
